What are you doing the first Saturday of 2023?


Today Dan and I are sharing the fourth step and action you can take, to ensure that you will carry out your resolutions and plans.


LEAVING YOUR COMFORT ZONE


We feel more convenient and safer in a well-known environment and situation, and often, are afraid to leave our comfort zone.

If you wish to improve your life, you need to be brave enough to leave your comfort zone and do different things.


You should be willing to do things in a different way, and do things you have never done before, otherwise, how can you initiate a change in your life.

Tomorrow, DO NOT LISTEN TO DOUBTS AND DISCOURAGEMENT


This new year Dan and I will be continuing the book, Ten-Minute Relaxation, For Mind and Body by Jennie Harding, until the end.


Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are always with you; your senses.


This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy, meditation.


By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.

CHAPTER 2; THE SENSORY JOURNEY; TOUCH


TOUCH THE ESSENCE OF CARE-


SWITCHING ON THE SENSE; LOWER BACK ACUPRESSURE SEQUENCE/ TEN-MINUTE EXERCISE

If you sit all day at a desk, or drive a car for long periods, or do gardening; this is an easy self-help sequence to use in the evening to ease stress, aches, and tiredness.


You need to rest your fingers either side of your waist and use your thumbs to apply pressure.


1. Start halfway up your back, thumbs either side of the spine. Make five pressures, each for five seconds, down toward the base of your spine. Repeat.

2. With your hands at hip level, your thumbs as far in as they will go. Make three pressures in a row outward, for five seconds. Repeat.


3. With your fingers lower down and your thumbs in the middle of your buttocks, make four pressures diagonally up toward the base of your spine. Repeat.
