CONTINUING THE SERIES ON; TIME AND CONTINUING LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Hello Followers,

Waking up this morning, I found myself discovering that it was Tuesday already.

Where did Monday go!

Yesterday, as Dan and I were walking; we were talking about the past.

With in that moment, I looked around and realized how lucky we were and because of the past, it led us to this very moment walking in a park surrounded with tall trees and a river.

SO PEACEFUL!

Comparing yourself to someone else is a massive waste of time.

The most important moment that we currently have is the present moment.

Past we cannot go back to and future we are not absolutely sure if we will reach there.

So, we are left with the present moment only.

How we spend this present moment will decide our future.

One should always keep this in his mind that there is no tomorrow nor yesterday.

Whatever we have is in the present day.

And one should not waste it because of inactions or delays.

How many are you out there are left-handers?

I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.

It’s time to share some words from THE LEFT-HANDER’S HANDBOOK.

WHY ARE THINGS SO TOUGH ON LEFT-HANDERS?

Far from being society’s misfits, data like this suggests that left-handers are almost a different species.

Who knows!

Maybe they’re the next step up in evolution.

In any case, we now know why left-handers have always believed they were special.

In their hearts, they know they’re right.

QUOTES ABOUT LIVING

TIME

Being your best and trying your best are the same thing.

The longer you try your best, the better you will become.

Be patient but persistent.

We each see the world through the filter of our pasts.

This is how two sets of eyes can view the exact same thing, but see it entirely differently.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

THROUGH PICTURES

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

20 PICTURES - ENJOY SLIDE SHOW

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

Tomorrow I will continue the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CONTINUING ON – ARE EMOTIONS DRIVERS OF PHYSICAL HEALTH?

Studies at Duke University indicate that stress also affects the rate at which our bodies heal.

Cell tissue actually heals faster when we are under little stress, as opposed to situations of high stress such as those stimulated by fear.

This is confirmed by studies at the University of Washington School of Medicine research department, which concludes that 75 percent of all ill health and healing is affected by the body’s reaction to stress.

Continue tomorrow –

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of TURMERIC. It’s amazing what and how turmeric can help keep your body healthy?

People with Alzheimer's have chronic inflammation, and turmeric seems to have natural anti-inflammatory effects.

So, does turmeric fight Alzheimer's?

Curcumin may be useful in treating Alzheimer’s disease.

Alzheimer’s disease is the most common form of dementia and may contribute to up 70% of dementia cases.

While treatment exits for some of its symptoms, there is no cure for Alzheimer’s yet.

That’s why preventing it from occurring in the first place is so important.

There may be good news on the horizon because curcumin has been shown to cross the blood-brain barrier.

It’s known that inflammation and oxidative damage play a role in Alzheimer’s disease, and curcumin has beneficial effects on both.

In addition, a key feature of Alzheimer’s disease is a buildup of protein tangles called amyloid plaques. Studies show that curcumin can help clear these plaques.

Whether curcumin can slow or even reverse the progression of Alzheimer’s disease in people is currently unknown and needs to be studied.

Curcumin can cross the blood-brain barrier and has been shown to lead to various improvements in the pathological process of Alzheimer’s disease.

NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth
