To keep the body in good health is a duty…

To keep the body in good health is a duty… otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear.

Hello followers,

Good day Monday, Dan and I have been blogging for the past ten years on the subject health is wealth. Food for the body is not enough.

There must be food for the soul. So, through experience and our new journey in keeping with believing- we are starting a new series. Everyday, we will be blogging on the two books we are reading each day.

KEEP BELIEVING – words to motivate and inspire your dreams (By Patricia Wayant)

I highly recommend getting these books and follow daily along with Dan and I.

The human body is the best picture of the human soul.

When we meditate, we inject far-reaching and long-lasting benefits into our lives: We lower our stress levels, we get to know our pain, we connect better, we improve our focus, and we're kinder to ourselves. Everyday we will be posting a mini meditation video, your welcome to join Dan and I.

When you need to renew that motivation to keep moving towards your goals and dreams everyday day, I will create a mini video message of inspiration. You may feel a need for a new perspective on a situation in your own life no matter if that’s at work, in a relationship or perhaps with your health or personal finances.

This is the best of the best divided into: happiness, success, love for the people in your life, staying strong and loving yourself.

One other step that Dan and I do to keep healthy is exercise by either hiking in a park or using a YouTube video – WALKING IN THE HOME. Exercise gives us an outlet for suppressed energies created by stress and thus tones the spirit just as exercise conditions the body.

1 Mile Walk with Dr. Natalie | Walk at Home

Hey, Walkers! After all the sedentary “quarantine living" who needs a Doctor? Wait, even better, who needs a WALK with a DOC? We feel you, we all need a doc these days! Walk at Home & Dr. Natalie Gentile teamed up to bring you a Doctor-led 1 Mile Workout! Our first ever! Dr. Natalie Gentile leads a beautiful group of doctors, nurses, and health care workers from the Pittsburgh PA area. We know that not only this amazing group has been working tirelessly in the past year to keep our community healthy, but also health care workers around the world have been doing the same!

To accomplish great things, we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe. By Anatole France

Be careful what you water your dreams with. Water them with worry and fear and you will produce weeds that choke the life from your dream. Water them with optimism and solutions and you will cultivate success. Always be on the lookout for ways to turn a problem into an opportunity for success. Always be on the lookout for ways to nurture your dream.

Its easy to dismiss your fears of missing out as silly, but they are actually a form of anxiety. Some experts believe they may be rooted in our ancestral need to stay in a pack in order to avoid being attacked by a wild animal or to keep near a source of warmth and food. Of course, getting eaten by a lion is highly unlikely in this day and age, but your desire to belong and stay with the group is still very real. Even if you’re chosen to stay home instead of going to a party, being bombarded with images of what you should be doing can make you look at your own life and feel as though it’s not enough.

The reason we struggle with insecurity is because we compare us behind the scenes with everyone else’s highlight reel. By Steven Furick

Until tomorrow, in between everyday keeping healthy; I will be blogging on subjects that relate to our health. Applying that knowledge is power. Understanding why and when to apply that knowledge is wisdom!
