To stay alive, you need to fight. It's as simple as that.
TODAY DAN AND I ARE STARTING A NEW SERIES, WE ARE DESIGNED TO SURVIVE AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE BOOK TEN-MINUTE RELAXATION FOR MIND AND BODY.
Hello Followers,
The title to this post today, To Stay Alive; You Need to Fight.
This is so true in conquering the state of mind of survival.
We all ask ourselves, why is this happening to me?
I know when I was diagnosed with cancer twelve years ago and Dan ten years ago, that very same question.
We come into the world as a tiny new baby and instantly start making choices.
We choose who to trust; counting on people to love us, helping us to grow and be strong in the world.
Life can be harsh, even horrible, but the choices you make about how you'll live your life are critical.
Either you'll choose to live as a hero.
This is someone who perseveres, moves forward through any physical and mental tests.
Or you'll live as a victim, blaming the world for your troubles.
Certainly, there are real victims who have no control over their circumstances.
Victims of war, earthquakes, unfortunate people abused and born into extreme poverty.
But what enables someone to rise above their pain, tirelessly working to overcome their suffering and improve their life?
What makes them survivors, caretakers, champions, givers, warriors, heroes; often quiet, unnoticed leaders in their quest to live a good life and have others benefit?
The difference between a warrior and a victim is that the victim represses and the warrior reframes.
AUGUST – 6th, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about August that’s so significant during this month?
National Wiggle Your Toes Day – August 6, 2022
Today it’s a fun day for you to show off your digits.
Let your toes breathe in open sandals and indulge in some public wiggling adventures on this day.
Admittedly, our toes don’t get the attention that they deserve.
Nevertheless, these tiny appendages are responsible for helping us stand straight, provide gripping, and help us walk effortlessly.
Why not go the extra mile this holiday and indulge in a pedicure to make your toe-wiggling adventures extra glamorous?
There seems to be no real information on who, how, or when National Wiggle Your Toes Day came into existence.
What we do know is that it’s a fun holiday where all you have to do is relax and wiggle your toes with your like-minded friends.
The easiest way to celebrate the day is by simply letting your ten little piggies see the light of day.
When we mention the words little piggy, most of us will automatically think of the nursery rhyme that is typically used to play with a toddler’s toes and teach them how to count.
The nursery rhyme dates back to 1728 and has entertained toddlers for centuries.
The poem, Ten Little Piggies, first featured in a medley known as The Nurses’ Song.
The first full version was published in 1760 in a book titled The Famous Tommy Thumb’s Little Story-Book.
The first copies of this book were sold in London.
If you have never used this nursery rhyme with your children before, then today is the perfect day for you to do so.
It is one of the best-loved nursery rhymes and children remember it long after they have grown up.
There are a few modern versions of the poem too, but they aren’t as popular as the original one.
Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.
Today is:
WRITE IT ON YOUR HEART THAT EVERY DAY IS THE BEST DAY IN THE YEAR.
Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.
Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.
A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 18; SEE THE POSSIBILITIES-
FAITH LETS YOU BEND-
God is involved in your life.
You are not alone as you struggle for wisdom to do the right thing in your difficult relationship.
You don’t have to change the person who is driving you nuts.
You just have to do the right thing yourself and trust that you aren’t the only one that cares about your handicapped family member, friend, co-worker, boss or yourself.
BEING DEEPLY ROOTED ALLOWS YOU TO BEND
Tomorrow, FAITH RECOGNIZES THAT I MAKE A DIFFERENCE-
Today Dan and I will be continuing on the book; ten-minute relaxation, For mind and body by Jennie Harding.
Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are with you at all times; your senses.
This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.
Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!
Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy; meditation.
By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes
CHAPTER 1; WHAT IS STRESS?
STRESS AND IMMUNITY-
Immune boost using eucalyptus essential oil; 10-minute exercise.
The quickest and easiest way to feel the benefits is to do a steam inhalation.
Pour 10 caps of boiling water into a heatproof bowl.
Add 4 drops of eucalyptus oil, lean over the bowl with your head under a towel.
Inhale the aromatic steam for 10 minutes.
You will immediately feel your breathing in easier and your mind is clearer.
You can also carry eucalyptus oil with you, put 2 drops on a facial tissue and inhale the aroma any time you need to unblock your nose.
The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.
We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.
If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.
