When desire dies, fear is born.

THIS WEEK STARTING ON A NEW SERIES, DESIRE WITHIN AND FINISHING ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, CONTINUING ON THE BOOK TEN-MINUTE RELAXATION FOR MIND AND BODY.

Hello followers,

Countdown to some cooler weather, Autumn arrives in 22 days.

Well, it’s a new month and getting closer to Autumn.

Something to think about, if desire is life; why should we seek to control desire?

For the simple reason that we seek to control life, or, at least, our life.

To make it more pleasant or less painful.

And more constructive or less destructive.

The first thing I noticed when pondering the questions like why should we seek to control desire and what is the point of life?

Is that my meaning would be different from yours.

My answer would be true, yet false.

Basically, our perception of reality will shape our answer to the question.

Within our perception of the reality, we live in, there are three components to look at; our external reality, our internal reality, and the unknown.

These have been noted in the past on prior posts, but are very important and worth repeating.

Will continue tomorrow-

SEPTEMBER – 1st, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about September that’s so significant during this month?

NATIONAL ACNE POSITIVITY DAY | SEPTEMBER 1

This day spreads a message of acceptance and self-love while putting our best face forward.

We all have been down this road before.

As many of us know, we judge our appearance more harshly than we do others.

Often times, we allow outside point of view to affect our confidence based on our appearance.

There are days, where we judge each blemish and mark.

Acne is a universal skin concern and is the number one reason to consult a dermatologist.

The day encourages us to let go of the stigma associated with acne and take time to love ourselves for who we are.

While our skin can make us feel vulnerable, we don’t have to give it power over us.

Acne may annoy, frustrate, and hinder us.

However, acne is a challenge like any other, one that we can overcome.

HOW TO OBSERVE NATIONAL ACNE POSITIVITY DAY

Put your best face forward.

Whether you like a bare, no-nonsense look or prefer a glamorous you, share your beautiful skin with confidence.

Embrace the face you have and share it with the world.

Share your struggles and your successes.

Give a shout out to friends who’ve adopted a positive attitude about their skin, those Acne Positivists.

We love them because they make us believe we can do it, too.

And we should!

Celebrate your skin, every blemish, pimple, zit; all the ways we describe acne.

This is also a great way to start September, be confident and embrace it all.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

EMBRACE IT ALL. THE UNCERTAINTY, THE FEAR OF CHANGE, THE GROWTH, THE CHALLENGES YOU MAY FACE, THE EXCITEMENT. IT ALL HAS A REASON, TO LEAD YOU TO WHO YOU’RE DESTINED TO BE.

Today Dan and I will be continuing on the book; ten-minute relaxation, For mind and body by Jennie Harding.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are with you at all times; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy; meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.

CHAPTER 2; THE SENSORY JOURNEY

SIGHT COLOR IN YOUR ENVIRONMENT-

EYE-CARE EXERCISE-

In the next two days coming up there I will post two exercises for the eyes.

These are very simple to do and come from the tradition of yoga.

They are particularly recommended if you spend a lot of time at a computer.

They are relaxing to do at any time, particularly in the evening.

Each exercise takes ten-minutes.

You can do them one after the other if you wish.

Or just one at a time.

If you wear glasses or contact lenses, remove them before you start.

Remember, if you experience any problems with your vision; you should see a medical practitioner or optician as soon as possible.

Stay tune on tomorrows and the next for the eye exercises-

As I ponder over all that I have learned, I have come to the findings that we all have our own blueprint.

Our bodies are precious and there are many components in taking care of them.

Throughout the blog, Dan and I have related the different ways through body, heart and soul.

It’s all about power of knowledge and learning to take care of yourself, keeping your cells happy.

Our immune system is one of the key factors in keeping healthy.

The immune system is the name given to the complex organisation of glands, white cells,

antibodies and other protein substances, hormones, enzymes and bacteria which protect the body against potentially harmful germs, viruses and foreign substances that may gain access to it.

Foreign substances may include improperly digested protein molecules or other toxic matter from the digestive system as well as medicine and antibiotics also toxic to the body.

The moment any of these substances enter the bloodstream they excite antagonism from the immune system and are therefore called antigens.

Among the everyday activities of the white cells is the destruction and elimination of worn-out red blood cells, which are continually replaced by the millions every second.

And the elimination of any other cellular or metabolic debris.

Until tomorrow-

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

WHEN DESIRE DIES

Until Friday, if you’re bored with life;

you don’t get up every morning with a burning desire to do things.

You don’t have enough goals.
