You can do anything, but not everything.

YESTERDAY STARTED A NEW SERIES, WHEN YOU’RE TOTALLY STRESSED OUT? PLUS, CONTINUING ON THE BOOK TEN-MINUTE RELAXATION FOR MIND AND BODY. ALSO, CANCER: CIVILIZATION’S -NO. 2 KILLER?????

Hello followers,

Happy Weekend!

It is time to relax and practice self-care.

The first benefit of self-care when stress about a major life change takes over your life, you will have plenty to offer.

When you feel totally depleted, it can be difficult to refuel and refill your personal resources.

Your resilience to oversee anything is at an all-time low.

When you practice self-care on a regular basis, the first benefit is your cup is never empty.

Think of yourself as a beautifully painted teacup and saucer, with gold rimming the cup, its handle, and the saucer too.

As you take care of yourself, you fill your cup.

The more you fill it, the fuller it gets, and the more energized and motivated you are to move through your day with ease.

As your cup begins to overflow into the saucer, you have plenty to give to the other people and responsibilities in your life, without feeling spent, used, or abused.

Tomorrow, the second benefit of self-care when stress about a major life change takes over your life.

NOVEMBER 5th, Dan, and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about November that is so significant during this month?

American Football Day – November 5, 2022

Time to phone your friends and get the old pigskin out, because November 5 is American Football Day.

Sure, they could have just called it Football Day, but if we want the rest of the world to join in on the festivities, we should probably be more specific.

American Football Day celebrates the U.S.A.’s most popular sport and reminds all that it is mid-season, and we should probably check on our fantasy teams.

To know more on how enthusiastic America is about football check out top football journalist stories.

How will you be celebrating this great American pastime?

Rugby and soccer both paved the way for American football in the late 1800s.

Yale grad Walter Camp gets the credit for pushing innovative rule changes including the line of scrimmage, down-and-distance rules (i.e., “1st and 10”), and the legalization of blocking.

Later, coaches like Knute Rockne and Amos Alonzo Stagg capitalized on the new “forward pass” play.

College football took off well before the pro version in the early 1900s as Bowl games attracted a national audience for college teams.

The NCAA version remains immensely popular today, with media coverage easily rivaling that of the NFL.

The pre-NFL American Professional Football Association began in 1920.

Things grew quickly on the pro side.

The NFL had grown to 25 teams by the mid-20s, and although the rival AFL folded after one season, it marked a growing interest in the game.

Several college stars joined the NFL, most notably the University of Illinois’ Red Grange.

More teams entered the league during the 1950s and the 1958 NFL Championship Game, known as “The Greatest Game Ever Played,” changed everything.

The Baltimore Colts and the New York Giants, meeting at Yankee Stadium, played the first “sudden death” overtime game in NFL history.

Tied after 60 minutes of play, it became the first NFL game to go into sudden death overtime.

The final score was Colts 23, Giants 17.

The game has since become widely known as “The Greatest Game Ever Played”.

NBC broadcast the game live; many believe this set the stage for America’s current NFL frenzy.

Today there are 32 NFL teams split evenly between the NFC and the AFC.

Conference winners meet to determine the league champion in the Super Bowl, generally held in early February.

A postseason Bowl playoff system now generates the collegiate “national champion” as well.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is

NOW AND THAN IT’S GOOD TO PAUSE IN OUR PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS AND JUST BE HAPPY.

Today Dan and I will be continuing the book, Ten-Minute Relaxation, For Mind and Body by Jennie Harding.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are always with you; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy, meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.

CHAPTER 2; THE SENSORY JOURNEY; SMELL

SMELLS AND MOODS-

AROMATHERAPY BATH – TEN MINUTE EXERCISE

An aromatherapy bath needs some preparation, but it need not take you long.

Run your bath to a comfortable temperature, perhaps light candle on the side.

Put on a little relaxing music.

Choose your combination of essential oils and add them either to four teaspoons fragranced bath foam or four teaspoons for a touch of cleopatra, making a milk bath.

Both methods soothe the skin and help to disperse the essential oils into the water.

Pour in your mixture, swirl it around evenly, and then get in.

Allow yourself a minimum of ten minutes to soak.

Oh, go on; have ten more minutes more!

As an extra treat, you can use any of the bath formulae to make a little massage oil as well.

So, for example, after a sweet dreams bath, add the same essential oil formula to three teaspoons jojoba carrier oil, and massage your skin with the fragrance you enjoyed in the water.

This is a particularly lovely way of helping yourself to relax and de-stress at the end of a long day.

Tomorrow, scenting your environment.

As I ponder over all that I have learned, I have come to find that we all have our own blueprint.

Our bodies are precious and there are many components in taking care of them.

Throughout the blog, Dan and I have related the separate ways through body, heart, and soul.

It is all about power of knowledge and learning to take care of yourself, keeping your cells happy.

Our immune system is one of the key factors in keeping healthy.

It is important to know how it works!

Cancer: Civilization's - No. 2 Killer

Continuing today on Important--Note Well

The major factor underlying the cancer process is improper diet.

The incidence of all kinds of cancer is related more to the high intake of cooked food containing fat, protein, cholesterol, salt, and preservatives than to anything else, although anything at all detrimental to the purity of the bloodstream must one way or another contribute to the problem.

The deprivation of oxygen to the cells is caused not only by high blood viscosity, poor circulation, and low oxygen levels, but also by the absence of the enzymes needed to process the oxygen.

The respiratory enzymes may be absent because of nutrients missing from the diet, or the respiratory enzymes may be inhibited by carcinogens in the bloodstream derived from sources such as food, smoking, alcohol, putrefaction in the colon and poisons from infected teeth.

Continue tomorrow-

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

NOT EVERYTHING

Until Sunday, not knowing what’s going to happen next can be seriously stressful.

What’s the next best move for me?

Which path should I take?

How is this all going to work out?

Therefore, so many people stress about the future.
