Question for today!

Do you kick all your negative company to the curb?


I have learned throughout the years that life is far too short and awesome to deal with negative people, with their toxic thoughts and habits.


Keeping negative people around guarantees you’ll be unhappy and miserable.

Equate negative people to mosquitoes and put some repellent on so they can’t suck the life out of you.


It’s time to do some spring cleaning with the group of people who make up your circle of acquaintances, colleagues and friends?


There are probably some toxic persons in there who are undermining your confidence, betraying your trust, and spreading negativity.

There is no escaping the fact that we cannot live in total isolation, as we are social animals.


We need to find empathy, compassion and positive stimuli to survive in the jungle.


To avoid shutting off from everyone completely, here are 10 toxic persons you should get rid of or, at the very least, avoid as much as possible.

They are; those who soak up your time like a sponge, those who criticize you far too often, those who play the victim all the time, those who have a negative mindset, those who lose their temper and zap your energy, those who show no compassion or empathy, those who are dishonest and lie to you, those who are deliberately hurtful, and those who are stressed out.


So, today is the day to do some spring cleaning and live a life of fulfillment.

National Junk Food Day – July 21, 2022


Have you ever wished for a day where you can eat absolutely anything you want?

Well that day is today!


When I was having my functional treatments for cancer in Mexico, our physician told us that every once in a while; you can eat something that isn’t on our health list of foods.


Well, this would be Dan and my day to sneak and cheat on foods.

National Junk Food Day is celebrated every year on July 21.


Dedicated to the foods we like to snack on, this isn’t your average cheat day.


Today, you can eat junk food for every meal.


Popularized in the U.S in the 1950s, junk foods are usually, by definition, high in fats, sugars, salt, and calories.


But they are also high in deliciousness!

Junk food day is the perfect day to treat yourself.


On this day, you’re allowed your favorite junk foods without any guilt.


So go ahead and add extra cheese on that burger and go for that order of fries.


Today you’re allowed!

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

If so, try admiration.

What is it you admire in your SUP?


Focus on that.


Tell them again and again face-to-face, via letter, or through a greeting card.


The seeds of change grow best when they are set in the ground that is tilled by one’s choices, rained on by acceptance and warmed by the sunshine of possibilities.


The one thing people who are difficult cannot resist over the long term is caring help that offers hope.

True change is the result of a personal choice that flows most easily when the person feels accepted for who they are and appreciates the possibilities to be more.

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy; meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.


The human body is an incredible, interactive vehicle and it needs careful nurturing to keep it in peak condition.

Exercise is one important way to do just that, but so is observing and managing stress.


By learning to de-stress and relax, you allow your body to rest and regenerate itself.


Stress is one of the major lifestyle factors of our times.

It can be physical, mental or emotional; or sometimes all three at once.


Stress often arises because you ignore the persistent signals your body is giving you about your environment.


For example, sitting in the wrong position at your desk for years on end may be putting severe physical stress on your neck and shoulders, creating pain, possibly migraines, affecting your concentration and your state of mind.


Simply adjusting that posture may have positive and dramatic results.
