However, what separates those who are successful from those who aren’t is how they respond to these challenges.
I tell Dan this all the time!
We remind ourselves every day to believe in ourselves and that we are capable of far more than we think we are in overcoming the challenge we are currently facing.

Let its energy flow from your heart in abundance, displacing its opposites, envy, resentment and indifference.

Count on that!
The secret to not being caught by dysfunctional behavior is to expect it.
Looking objectively at past experiences can desensitize you to control maneuvers, so that the problem can be discussed rationally.
Logic requires a third person, objective view of the situation.
Don’t let a tactic tie up your emotions so that you are unable to distance yourself from the fray.
