HEALING PROPERTIES AS THE NATURAL HEALING WATER

Where did last week go, zoom! Monday? I swear it was Friday like five minutes ago. I swear since I retired, the time ticks away. Sometimes I look back and ask myself, how did I take care of a daughter, home and a full-time job. These days, it seems all I focus on are obstacles and that’s all I have time for. How do you feel about time in general?
Love this saying, “Hello, Monday. May I ask you a question? Why are you always back so quickly? Don’t you have a hobby?”
I’m starting this week off with a big bang, I’m letting the secret out of what water system; Dan and I chose to use to keep us healthy.
There are so many different brands on the market; however, Kangen water beats them all out. This whole week, I will be blogging on why I feel this way and our experiences with the unit we chose.

Ten years ago, Dan and I were invited to a Kangen water seminar in Orlando. Again Marcus, was so kind to invite us, for we are so grateful for his passion and friendship. During this seminar, the founder was a speaker and we were blessed to meet Mr. Oshiro and his wife.
So, before writing about the unit itself, the history is quite interesting.
The history of Kangen water is a very rich history that started with very tragic beginnings.
During the 1950’s Japan was struck by severe acid rains that came from China. Determined to bring healthy pure water to their people, scientists began working on a solution. Searching far and wide, they searched from the Himalayans and throughout India in search of a natural healing source.
They found healing waters that were alkaline and hexagonal. Armed with this secret, they returned to Japan and constructed the first commercial water ionizer that would revolutionize our health.
Kangen water is a water that is alkaline and antioxidant. This means that it contains the same healing properties as the natural healing water sources we often hear about around the world.
In Japanese, Kangen means “return to origin.” This origin refers to the natural origin before the pollution of our waters and bodies. This water is unique in the world and is a registered trademark by Enagic – a company based out of Osaka, Japan.
During the 1800’s a man by the name of Michael Faraday invented a process known as electrolysis. This is what happens when water is separated into oxygen and hydrogen molecules.
Later on, during the 1940’s the Russians would further develop this invention and by the 1950’s the Japanese became the first to commercialize what we now know as a water ionizer.
In 1966 the ministry of rehabilitation and health of Japan confirmed that alkaline water was beneficial for one’s health and medical use. Since then over one-hundred Japanese hospitals have administered and used this water to their patients.

In 2001, Mr. Hironari Oshiro emerged with a company in Japan by the name of Toyo Aitex. Up until 2001, Toyo Aitex company was the company producing this amazing medical water in hospitals all over Japan.
They even gained a reputation as the best water ionizer company out of 30 other Japanese water ionizer companies. Mr. Oshiro then became the president of the Enagic company and the company was born.
In 2003, Enagic entered the American market through the city of Los Angeles. The first conference was held in Japanese with English translators and all the documents were in Japanese.
Today, over 4,000 Enagic water systems are sold per month in the USA and the numbers are steadily climbing. Known for the Gold Standard, Enagic are certified by ISO 9001 and ISO 14001. They also hold various environmental awards along with medical certificates from Japan.
Mr. Oshiro’s vision is a phenomenal one to say the least. He calls this vision: True Health. He hopes that one day everyone will benefit from having a Kangen system in their home and that illness will someday be a thing of the past.
Drinking plenty of water on a daily basis is vital to our health. Water carries nutrients to cells, helps with digestion, flushes out toxins, helps prevent headache and fatigue, and can even aid in weight loss or maintenance. Our bodies are up to 75% water, and staying well-hydrated is critical to our optimum health and survival.
1500 plastic bottles are consumed every second. Enough plastic is thrown away each year to circle the earth four times. And, it will take 1000 years for the plastic to degrade.
The plastic in bottled water often contains chemicals BPA and phthalates, which are proven to be hazardous to human health.

Kangen water begins as tap water. The Enagic machine filters out chlorine and other impurities from the tap water, then separates the hydrogen and oxygen with a process known as electrolysis. This process adds an electron to the hydrogen creating a new molecule called diatomic molecular hydrogen gas. When this is added to your drinking water, it produces antioxidant-rich Kangen water.
Oxidant, by definition, is an oxidizing agent, while antioxidant is any substance that acts to slow or prevent the oxidation of another chemical. In the human body, oxidative damage has been implicated in many of our modern-day diseases such as cancer, heart disease, and diabetes. Antioxidants, on the other hand, act to tame the free radicals (or highly reactive chemicals) in the body that have potential to harm cells and cause disease.
According to this study, those who drank hydrogen-rich water showed a substantial increase in their antioxidant enzymes and a massive decrease in acid in the urine. Further, participants showed a significant increase in HDL the "good cholesterol," and a significant decrease in the "bad cholesterol." 'Electrolyzed Reduced Water' has been used in hospitals in Japan for decades.
