Life is either a daring adventure or nothing at all.

THIS WEEK WE WILL BE BLOGGING ON THE SERIES OF LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, THE HERB – ARTICHOKE. ALSO 101 WAYS TO HAPPINESS.

Hello followers,

Happy Week-end!

The best way to face challenges in life is to firstly believe in yourself.

Believe that you are capable of far more than you think, but don’t be afraid to express the normal feelings when faced with such an obstacle.

Make a plan, talk to a trusted friend or loved one and seek help when needed.

You’ve got this!

“The brick walls are there for a reason.

The brick walls are not there to keep us out.

The brick walls are there to give us a chance to show how badly we want something.

Because the brick walls are there to stop the people who don’t want it badly enough.

They’re there to stop the other people.” Randy Pausch

101 WAYS TO HAPPINESS; by Mike Annesley.

Continuing from last year!

Since all the research of keeping healthy, leads to making your cells happy; this book will help your mental health to be happy.

That is the first step in keeping your cells happy and keeping your body healthy.

CHAPTER 4; HAPPILY, CONNECTED

LOVING KINDNESS

Do this Buddhist meditation from time to time to awaken the loving energies inside yourself;

1. Sit comfortably upright in a straight-backed chair, and relax your body and mind.

2. Send loving thoughts from your mind to your heart, a surge of self-generated compassion.

3. Visualize about six people in turn, and mentally send them your love; as rays from your heart.

Start with loved ones and progress with diminishing closeness, concluding with someone who dislikes you.

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 12; FIGHT FAIR WITH UNFAIR PEOPLE

LOVE IS WHAT HOLDS HEARTS TOGETHER WHEN MINDS DISAGREE!

MIND GAMES; TACTICS

TALKING THROUGH THE PROBLEM

CONFRONTATION –

Today continuing on, STEP 2; PRACTICE BEING OBJECTIVE-

Write down your observations about the relationship interactions in the past.

Remember the bitter disappointment of an argument with your difficult person and how the intention to resolve a problem turned into a battle ground.

Use that knowledge to guide you to better approaches.

Think about the methods that got nowhere, the words that were not heard.

Think about words or behaviors that escalated the effort to resolve issues into a worse mess.

Remember what made the difficult person feel cornered and become vicious in a counterattack or become so crushed that they wallowed in self-pity, threatened to jump off a bridge or even became nearly catatonic.

Write down the key control phrases that your difficult person uses, such as;

1. I have tried to do so much for you.

2. I wouldn’t tell you these things if I didn’t care.

3. You can’t understand.

Continuing tomorrow on, STEP 2; PRACTICE BEING OBJECTIVE-

Last year, Dan and I have been posting, this is the time to get ready for food and remedies that

heal; alchemy of herbs.

Starting today on the herb; ARTICHOKE and the benefits.

It’s amazing what and how artichoke can help keep your body healthy?

Artichokes have the highest antioxidant levels out of all vegetables, according to a study done by the USDA, and out of 1,000 plants of different types of foods, they ranked 7th in antioxidant content.

A 2018 study published in the Lipids in Health and Disease journal suggests that the extracts made from Jerusalem artichoke leaves and tubers will be very helpful in inhibiting cancer cell proliferation.

Artichokes are an arsenal of weaponry against cancer as they are rich in polyphenols.

The extracts of artichokes make for a promising dietary tool in cancer prevention as well as in therapy.

This was mentioned in a study conducted by the Regina Elena National Cancer Institute, Italy.

Many other research studies have also explored and found that artichokes hold therapeutic potential for the treatment of mesothelioma.

As Dan and I begin a new year, this is our PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

BE HAPPY IN THE MOMENT, THAT'S ENOUGH.

EACH MOMENT IS ALL WE NEED, NOT MORE.

A DARING ADVENTURE

Until Sunday, look at a day when you

are supremely satisfied at the end.

It’s not a day when you lounge around doing nothing;

it’s a day you’ve had everything to do, and you’ve done it.
