Hello Followers,

Welcome to Tuesday!

Peace comes from within.

Do not seek it without.

Inner peace is not just a state of mind but a genuine key for a meaningful life.

It is the mental and emotional stillness that comes with understanding yourself, even among the chaos and stress of the outside world.

This inner calm enables us to navigate life’s complexities with clarity and courage, fostering resilience and empathy along the way.

It is time to dive into the incredible health benefits of ginger and explore easy ways to incorporate it into your lifestyle today.

Ginger is the star of any dish if you let it shine.

So, again do not underestimate the power of spices and herbs in promoting health.

Uses of Ginger

Fresh raw ginger root is a staple ingredient in Asian cuisines.

It is used in curries, soups, rice, noodles, and stews.

Pickled ginger is offered with sushi as a palate cleanser.

Ginger-garlic paste is used across cuisines.

World over, it is also used to flavor beverages such as tea, specialty coffees, lemonades, cocktails, and even smoothies.

Ginger cookies, candied ginger, and the gingerbread man are popular holiday favorites.

Ginger Tea – You can make tea by steeping grated ginger in boiled water.

It is a natural cure for sore throat, coughs, and colds.

Ginger juice and chews are other home remedies, often given to alleviate nausea and digestive problems.

It is often used in herbal products such as soaps, shampoos, massage oils, and perfumes.

Ginger supplements are available in most pharmacies in the form of:

Dried ginger root

Capsules

Extracts

Syrups

Powder form

Essential oils

Tomorrow Dan and I will be starting on the herb, chamomile.

KNOWLEDGE IS A TREASURE, BUT PRACTICE IS THE KEY TO IT

DID YOU KNOW!

A new study has revealed that IV bags, a staple of modern medicine, could be sending microplastics directly into your bloodstream during hospital infusions.

🔎 Researchers analyzed infusion fluids and found:

• Up to 7,500 microplastic particles per liter

 • Mostly polypropylene (the same plastic used in medical packaging)

 • Particle sizes ranging from 1–62 micrometers, small enough to circulate in the body

🌍 Why it matters:

 • Microplastics have already been found in human blood, lungs, and even placentas.

 • IV bags may represent a direct and concentrated pathway into the bloodstream.

 • The long-term health effects are still uncertain, but scientists warn of possible inflammation, organ deposition, and cellular stress.

👩‍⚕️ Hospitals rely on single-use plastics for safety, but this discovery highlights a hidden cost of our plastic-dependent healthcare system.

Plastics do not just pollute the planet; they may already be flowing through us.

Dan and I welcome you to join us with the next book for our book club.

LIFE LESSONS FROM THE OCEAN, soothing wisdom from the sea – By Richard Harrtington

WORMS CAN BE BEAUTIFUL

Worms are vital in the ecology of the undersea world, but here there are many exquisite and intriguing forms.

Take the Christmas tree worm.

Its body lies hidden in holes in coral reefs, but when it feeds, it sends out feathery tentacles that look fir-tree shaped, with added glistening decorations, too.

The football jersey worm sports attractive strips, its longer cousin, the bootlace worm, has been reported as reaching 180 feet long.

In this practice, you will gently ground yourself in the present, soften around the unknown, and release the need for control.

Whether you are facing big life changes, feeling anxious about the future, or simply need to reset, this meditation offers a peaceful space to reconnect with your inner calm.

Until Wednesday, the ginger flower is a symbol of love and beauty in the tropics.
