Only actions give life strength; only moderation gives it charm.

CONTINUING THIS WEEK ON SERIES MODERATION IS THE KEY TO LIFE AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. BONUS ON HAPPINESS!

Hello Followers,

It's Saturday, enjoy.

Most of us know how important it is to eat well, exercise and otherwise take good care of our bodies.

However, there’s a fine line between doing those things in appropriate amounts and going overboard to the point of unhealthy excess or a lack.

For example, going to the gym regularly is usually a good thing, but if you work out so frequently your body doesn’t have enough time to recover between visits, you’re putting yourself at risk for injuries.

The same could be said for eating a sensible diet.

Nutritious foods should be a part of your everyday routine, but that doesn’t mean suddenly depriving yourself of all the things you used to love to eating what is not very healthy.

Having a healthy lifestyle involves understanding moderation and balance, and then applying those principles naturally to your life.

Dan and I have been striving every day, to eat well by eating all organic vegetables, grass-fed meats and poultry occasionally, gluten free and all in moderation.

We exercise daily by walking, going to the gym and occasionally if the weather is bad outside, we walk at home or go to our local mall to walk.

And oh, when we walk in the mall during the holiday season; it gets us in the Christmas mood.

Love the festive displays and music.

It won’t be long, countdown to CHRISTMAS is 14 days.

As Dan and I prepare for the holidays, I will end on the series of HOW SAFE IS MEXICO and shorten the blog post a little for the coming year.

However, there is a page where I have some pictures and videos:

Another way to capture the safety of Mexico, is go on the main page of the BLOG and look for the hash tag# MEXICO on the right side of the page, and all the blog post on HOW SAFE IS MEXICO THROUGH PICTURES AND VIDEO’S will pop up.

Yesterday, ended the series on THE SIX SENSES AND YOUR WELL-BEING, to review this topic, you can also go to the main BLOG and hash tag# SIXSENSES on the right of the age, and all the post related to that topic will pop up.

CHAPTER 2; HAPPILY, PEACEFUL

CONQUER STRESS

Stress is a hidden harm!

It may go deeper than we realize, even threatening our health.

But it needn’t be this way.

Take stress seriously and do what you can to expel it from your life.

Ask yourself these questions:

1) Is there a lifestyle I can make to keep stress at bay?

These might include working at home one day a week.

Saying no to extra commitments.

Sharing household jobs more equitably.

2) Can I improve my responses to difficult situations?

Your natural mindset is peace, not tension.

Maybe you are exaggerating your worries.

Misplacing your priorities.

Underrating your skill-set.

Not factoring in the support of loved ones?

3) Are these positive routines I can use to strengthen my mindset?

Possibilities include mindfulness meditation and yoga, sports and personal projects that take you into the zone.

THE GREATEST WEAPON AGAINST STRESS IS OUR ABILITY TO CHOOSE ONE THOUGHT OVER ANOTHER. -William James

How many are you out there are left-handers?

I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.

WHY ARE THINGS SO TOUGH ON LEFT-HANDERS?

LEFTY LORE

In England, a ritual used to bring good fortune when playing darts involves the feet.

For good luck, many players will bring their foot to the floor marking, moving it left to right before throwing their darts.

Today will continue the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 11; MAKE ANGER YOUR ALLY

It’s hard to want to continue a relationship with someone who bucks your every effort.

It’s tiring to hear the same old problems rehashed and rehashed.

Discouragement rides alongside every encounter.

The hope for keeping the fragile relationship together requires a twofold effort; managing your anger and taking control so that your hot wires aren’t detonated.

Tomorrow, WELL-MANAGED ANGER

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs.

In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of HAWTHORN.

It’s amazing what and how hawthorn can help keep your body healthy?
