There are better starters than me but I’m a strong finisher.
CONTINUING THIS WEEK ON THE SERIES, FOCUSING ON YOUR STRENGTH AND LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE HERB – COFFEE.
Sometimes I have to remind myself, that we learn from the past, live in the moment, prepare for the future.
Dan and I have discussions quite often on this topic, live in the moment.
Live in the moment, is another thing you’ll hear from psychologists giving advice on how to stay strong during tough times.
It’s important to remain in the present.
However, we can’t just pretend that the past and future don’t exist.
Learn from the past, don’t live in it.
Take the lessons that it has to offer, then leave it behind.
Don’t live for tomorrow, either.
Prepare for it, but don’t count on it.
Remember, tomorrow is not promised.
Once you’ve given the past and the future their due consideration, pull yourself back into the present.
The strongest people know that the only way through life’s toughest moments is to take it step by step and one day at a time.
The hardest thing about finding your strength is that you only really discover it through tough times.
Sure, you can build yourself up ahead of time and prepare to stay strong, but we can only find out if our strategies work when our strength is truly tested.
Kind of like how you don’t know if your favorite tree will survive a hurricane until it actually does.
You can build yourself up beforehand, but remain flexible enough to adjust your strategies when the hurricane hits.
Last but not least, remember, you can stay strong because you are strong.
Since it’s May, Dan and I thought it would be fun to share what is it about May that’s so significant during this month?
Let’s take a look at this a-may-zing month!
May actually has two birth flowers, the Lily-of-the-Valley and the Hawthorn.
The Hawthorn flower is a symbol of hope, while the Lily-of-the-Valley represents the return of happiness and sweetness.
Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.
AS IS OUR CONFIDENCE, SO IS OUR CAPACITY.
Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.
Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.
A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 15; TOUCH WITH WORDS
BE AN ECHO-
Another way to echo is with questions.
A lot of conflict can be skirted by simply echoing back in the form of a question the statements that are blustering forth-
Are you saying ______?
Did I understand correctly _______?
Is your understanding that ________?
From your personal experience have you found what you are saying to be true?
This is the spot that Dan and I have been posting, on the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs.
Today blogging on the herb; COFFEE and the benefits.
It’s amazing what and how coffee can help keep your body healthy?
Light coffee roasts, is the first type of coffee roast.
Light roasts are roasted for the least amount of time.
Lightly roasted beans generally reach an internal temperature of 356°F – 401°F, right after the first crack occurs.
These beans tend to not have the oils on them because they haven’t been roasted at a high enough temperature.
The longer a bean is roasted the more the heat pulls out the caffeine and the acidity.
This means light roasts have the most caffeine (by volume) and the most acidity.
Light roasts can have a different taste profile because the shortened roasting process prevents some chemical changes from occurring inside the bean.
Origin flavors of the bean are more recognizable in light roasts since the flavors that come from the roasting process often aren’t prominent.
The acidity in light roasts is often accompanied by a citrus or lemon tone which some people find pleasing to the palate.
The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.
We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.
