To live will be an awfully big adventure.

THIS WEEK DAN AND I WILL CONTINUE ON THE SERIES OF LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, THE HERB – ARTICHOKE. ALSO 101 WAYS TO HAPPINESS.

Hello followers,

Happy Tuesday!

As like every day, I get up and start my day with sharing the blog with others.

Through this blog Dan and I hope to inspire others.

Yesterday I happen to start a new series on living a great story.

For Dan and I, we have been blessed.

Valentine’s morning, our daughter gave birth to a baby girl.

Our son-in-law, daughter and grandson will be starting a new journey together.

But for Dan and I, we are excited to be part of living in this great story of theirs.

The secret of living a great story is surrounding ourselves with the right people who learn, grow, face obstacles, develop their strengths and use their passions to live their own great story.

The magic happens when you connect with those like-minded people.

You're with your people, you're bringing people along with you and you're inspiring people to do the same.

The rising tide lifts all ships.

And so, living a great story, I've learned that it's all about us, together.

Life is about moving forward in a group, helping and inspiring others to do the same.

It's about-facing life together to support each other so that we can all live a great story together.

101 WAYS TO HAPPINESS; by Mike Annesley.

Continuing from last year!

Since all the research of keeping healthy, leads to making your cells happy; this book will help your mental health to be happy.

That is the first step in keeping your cells happy and keeping your body healthy.

CHAPTER 4; HAPPILY, CONNECTED

GIVE THOUGHTFUL CARE

The poet Maya Angelou devised a good motto for caregivers; “Be a rainbow in someone else’s cloud.”

For sure, caregiving can be stressful, but also rewarding; bringing new closeness to a relationship.

The key is being sensitive to each other’s needs.

Give care mindfully, focusing on the moment.

Listen and value what you learn.

Allow your dependent to make their own decisions.

Spring pleasant surprises.

Be sure to take off for your own interests and friends.

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 12; FIGHT FAIR WITH UNFAIR PEOPLE

WIN WAR GAMES BY CONVINCING THE WARRIOR IT IS IN HIS BEST INTEREST TO STOP PLAYING

LETTER WRITING

Some professionals suggest writing a letter to the person with whom you struggle.

Write letters to reasonable people.

Even write letters to organize your own thoughts.

But confronting issues with a screwed-up person demands a face-to-face encounter.

It’s more difficult to misconstrue words when you hear the inflections.

Misstatements and misinterpretations can be corrected when you sit across a table from each other.

But unfortunately, even face-to-face, many SUP’s simply twist your words and use them against you.

Tomorrow, ADVICE AND CRITICISM -

Last year, Dan and I have been posting, this is the time to get ready for food and remedies that

heal; alchemy of herbs.

Starting today on the herb; ARTICHOKE and the benefits.

It’s amazing what and how artichoke can help keep your body healthy?

BITTER ARTICHOKE TEA RECIPE –

This tea is not going to be the best tea you’ve ever tasted.

What it is going to be is bitter.

And as you’ve been learning, bitter is an incredibly important taste for stimulating digestion.

This recipe has been changed a little to ease the bitterness by combining the artichoke leaves with aromatic lemongrass and ginger.

A small dollop of honey gives complexity to the tea but doesn’t dampen the bitter benefits.

Sip slowly before or after a meal to stimulate digestion.

Ingredients:

Small pinch dried artichoke leaves

1 tablespoon dried lemongrass

½ teaspoon ginger powder

Honey to taste

Instructions:

1. Bring 1 ¼ cups of water to a boil.

2. Place the herbs in a mug or large tea infuser.

3. Avoid cramming the herbs into a small tea infuser; its better for them to have room to expand and move around.

4. Pour the just boiled water over the herbs.

5. Let sleep, covered, for 5 minutes.

6. Strain.

7. Add honey for sweetness.

Tomorrow, ARTICHOKE AND ORANGE BITTERS RECIPE

As Dan and I begin a new year, this is our PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

LIFE IS A GREAT BIG CANVAS, AND YOU SHOULD THROW ALL THE PAINT ON IT YOU CAN.

AWFULLY BIG ADVENTURE

Until Wednesday, let the beauty of what you

love be what you do.
