You can't move things by not moving.

RECAPPING ON CHANGE? PLUS, CONTINUING ON THE BOOK TEN-MINUTE RELAXATION FOR MIND AND BODY. ALSO, CANCER: CIVILIZATION’S -NO. 2 KILLER?????

Hello followers,

Happy Sunday, Dan and I are getting ready for a new week.

How about you?

If not, it is time for some motivation.

Your motivation turns into momentum.

When life changes and becomes harder, adaptable people find ways to move through the challenge.

It may not be welcomed, it may in fact be devastating, yet the most resilient among us find a way to bounce back in time.

Are you one of those people?

Do you wish you were?

Whenever you face change and challenge from a position of flexibility, adaptability, and resilience, you cannot help but move forward.

That act of moving comes from the motivation of not wanting to stay mired in the experience of change, but to learn from it.

From that motivation to move forward, you develop momentum.

Once that starts, you are on your way to a better place.

Change is rarely comfortable, especially when it is unexpected.

It can knock your upside down and right off your foundation.

At this point, you get to make a choice about how you will stare it down.

Will you become adaptable?

Are your resilience muscles in undamaged shape?

Can you use the experience to make you stronger?

It may seem like you must do this all by yourself but, the fact is, you do not.

Who do you admire and trust to grab your hand and pull you up?

Going through change is much easier when you share the burden and learn from others who have been there before.

Tomorrow, when you are totally stressed out.

Since this is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, every post this week; I will share something that I have written or done in the past that has to do with this very topic.

OCTOBER IS THE MONTH FOR BREAST CANCER AWARENESS

Let us explore, immune support and regulation, which is part of the five-step plan.

The immune system is the body’s defense against infectious organisms and other invaders.

Immune response is the process by which the immune system attacks, defends against organisms, substances that attack the body’s system and cause disease.

Key among the network of cells, tissues and organs that work together to protect the body are white blood cells or leukocytes, which function to seek out.

It destroys disease-causing organisms or substances.

These leukocytes are also known as lymphoid organs because of where they stored throughout the body, the thymus, spleen, and bone marrow.

Leukocytes are also present in the body’s lymph nodes, as well as circulate through the body’s organs and nodes via lymphatic vessels and blood vessels.

The immune system orchestrates a coordinated monitor and response process, identifying germs other irregular substances in the body that might impair cell or system function.

Unfortunately, the immune system is not responsive to drugs for healing.

Example: long-term use of antibiotics to fight infections can depress the immune system.

Immune regulation involves a complex process whereby internal defense mechanisms are made aware of the presence of altered cells or tumors which are growing wildly in the body.

RECAPPING ON CHANGE? PLUS, CONTINUING ON THE BOOK TEN-MINUTE RELAXATION FOR MIND AND BODY. ALSO, CANCER: CIVILIZATION’S -NO. 2 KILLER?????

Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.

Do not be afraid to give up the good to go for the great.

Just take any step, whether small or large. And then another and repeat day after day.

Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time.

Change in all things is sweet.

OCTOBER 30th, Dan, and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about October that is so significant during this month?

National Checklist Day – October 30, 2022

If you pride yourself on your organizational skills, then put a check mark next to National Checklist Day on October 30, a cherished holiday which keeps our lives together.

The more complex our lives get, the easier it is to make mistakes.

Today, we celebrate the humble checklist as the innovative tool that has stood the test of time.

Without checklists, we can feel like we are juggling a bunch of balls in the air and trying to keep them from dropping.

Even the simple things can be forgotten or go unnoticed, let alone the difficult or complex things that fill our day.

Although success in any endeavor is not guaranteed, armed with an organized checklist, you stand a better chance of achieving your goals.

So, is National Checklist Day the result of a reformed hoarder or the work of an obsessive-compulsive freak?

Definitely not!

But you might be surprised to learn that checklists came out of a need to keep pilots safe during WWII.

The first checklist resulted from a crash that injured several people, killing at least two on a Boeing Model 299 B-17 plane in 1935.

The 299 was heralded as the most state-of-the-art aircraft at the time.

During the post-crash investigation, Boeing discovered that the pilot had forgotten to do a simple task; turn off the elevator lock.

This simple omission caused the aircraft not to respond to pitch control, leaving the plane vulnerable.

According to a report by two university professors in a 1990 study, cockpit checklists serve several key functions in aviation safety, to ensure that the crew will properly configure the airplane for any given segment of flight.

And to create standardization in the cockpit.

Also, memory of the safety procedures can never take the place of the actual checklist in aviation.

So, if a checklist can keep us flying safely in the air, what better way to keep our lives organized and running smoothly on the ground?

American companies also use checklists as successful training tools.

Now that you know the origins of the National Checklist Day, check that off your list and enjoy the rest of the day!

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

EMBRACE LIFE’S CHALLENGES AND LET IT TRANSFORM YOU TO THE BEST VERSION OF YOURSELF.

Today Dan and I will be continuing the book, Ten-Minute Relaxation, For Mind and Body by Jennie Harding.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are always with you; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy, meditation.

As I ponder over all that I have learned, I have come to find that we all have our own blueprint.

Our bodies are precious and there are many components in taking care of them.

Throughout the blog, Dan and I have related the separate ways through body, heart, and soul.

It is all about power of knowledge and learning to take care of yourself, keeping your cells happy.

Our immune system is one of the key factors in keeping healthy.

It is important to know how it works!

Cancer: Civilization's - No. 2 Killer

Metastasis--The Main Danger

Cells do not have to be fully de-differentiated to grow as cancer, and therefore pathology tests can usually identify them with the tissue of their origin.

Thus, when cancer cells migrate in the blood and lymph and start secondary tumors elsewhere in the body (metastasis), the site of the primary growth can usually be determined by examination of cells from the secondary.

The secondary growths are the fastest growing, because although at the tissue of their origin the normal constraints to growth still tend to control the primary cancer, away from the tissue of origin the constraints do not exist.

Primary tumors therefore are usually slow growing, and it is only when metastasis occurs that cancer is terminal.

As the cancer growth proceeds, the process becomes a vicious circle in which more of the body's supply of blood sugar is squandered in the wasteful production of lactic acid and so the entire body, poisoned and starved of sustenance, wastes away in the condition known as cachexia.

Continue tomorrow, Metastasis--The Main Danger.

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

MOVE THINGS

Until Monday, while coming to grips with my new reality wasn't easy, and at times I couldn't help but wonder; why did this happen to me? I had to take responsibility for getting my life back. Instead of complaining about how things should be, I embraced how things were. I stopped putting energy into wishing my life were any different, into wishing bad things didn't happen to me, and instead focused 100% on making the best of what I had. Since I couldn't change the past, I focused on moving forward. I dedicated my life to fulfilling my potential and achieving my dreams so I could discover how to empower others to do the same.
