This topic really hardly is spoken about; however, plays a big part in our health.
Although we have always known it without conscious reasoning, science has confirmed the tremendous power our words have on ourselves, communities, and the world.
In fact, words can literally shape the material world. The words we speak not only reflect, but shape our thoughts, and our thoughts shape the physical structure of our brains.
Did someone ever say something to you that stuck with you years later?
Words have the power to raise us up to the highest peak and take us down to the lowest valley.
Maybe you’ve had the chance to lift a friend, family member, co-worker or even a stranger up from the depths of despair, pain or loneliness solely with your heartfelt, caring words. Just as we can scar someone for life with these simple words, “You can’t do that” or “You’re not good enough”, we can change the course of someone else’s life with, “Go for it; you’ll succeed at whatever you do!”
Words can be especially strong coming from an authority figure like a teacher or parent.
What was said to you as a child, can follow you around like a shadow years later. You may not have pursued a dream because of those words. It’s that serious. Our words can impact others far beyond what we think they do.

If you always want to say the right thing, make sure to always think the right thoughts.
Someone who wants to make a good impression but worries about making a bad impression will likely say things that come out wrong, that they didn’t mean in that way, or that they shouldn’t have said at all.
Your thoughts are your word generators. Be keeping your mind calm and confident, you’ll see that everything you say will come out just fine.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?
Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.
Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

The decision to stay or leave is a lot like an optional surgery. You wouldn’t even consider it if there were not a problem.
You think long and hard about whether having the surgery would be the best choice and you pray for healing.
If you choose surgery, it implies the pain is too great and the hope for regeneration is dead. As the last resort you are willing to endure whatever it is that must be endured, the discomfort, inconvenience, emotional upheaval, and new stresses; with the hope that surgery will give you a new beginning.
When you make a decision about your relationship, it is with the same hope. If you stay or if you leave, the hope is for a new beginning.

Rosemary provides relief from pain. Rosemary can act as a pain-relieving agent as such, it may be effectively used to fight painful menstruation (dysmenorrhea) and stomach cramps.
Rosemary is also frequently used in aromatherapy for relaxing the nervous system since it induces calmness while relieving pain caused by arthritis.
The oil derived from Rosemary may also be used to massage pained areas and even in vapor baths to provide relief from pain.
The ability of Rosemary to relieve pain and modulate nervous system activity can also make it useful in treating intractable nerve pain.

As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).
I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!
Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!
