Herbs are the keys that unlock the door to well-being.


And are the sparks that ignite the fire of positivity.


Do not underestimate the power of spices and herbs in promoting health.



For example:


Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is a painful condition where stomach acid travels up the esophagus and causes heartburn.


 Aloe vera may help with reflux by lowering inflammation in the esophagus and reducing stomach acid.


One early study suggested that aloe vera syrup worked as well as reflux medications such as ranitidine (Zantac) and omeprazole (Prilosec) but with fewer side effects.



This is something for sure Dan and I will check out because Dan has this very issue.


Tomorrow’s we will complete the healing remedies of aloe vera.

Plan a big adventure


Now you have developed an explorer’s attitude by reading our post this month on Life’s a journey and not a destination, you are all set to travel farther afield and plan a bigger adventure.


The world’s an amazing place, full of breath-taking scenery, wonderful wildlife, awesome architecture, and incredible people.


So, get out there and fully embrace it.



Perhaps you already have a dream journey in mind an Amazon River cruise, a dog-sled trip to see the Northern Lights or a wildlife safari in Africa.


Or in Dan and my case our big plan trip is to go to Sicily to visit relatives and to Rome.



If you are not sure, the internets the place to check out bucket list destinations, so start with some research and if you are feeling creative put together a mood board or Pinterest collection of ideas to get you inspired.


Check out any films or novels set in your dream destination too.


Once you have chosen a destination, read up on other adventures experiences to fill you with enthusiasm and help you plan.



You do not need to travel to the other side of the world to enjoy an adventure but try to take in a different destination and enjoy a change of culture if you can.


Planning your trip should be part of the fun.


Set up a savings account and budget for your expedition while you research different travel options, there are plenty of ways you can travel cheaply, including hostels, Airbnb, and couch-surfing websites.


And remember do not wait for the perfect time to take your trip.



There is never a perfect time; tasks will always crop up that you feel you should prioritize over your dreams, but actually it is these wonderful experiences and memories that really matter in life.


So go for it explore, experience, and enjoy!
