STARTING ON A NEW SERIES; THOUGHTS AND WORDS AND CONTINUING ON THE SERIES OF LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE FROM LAST WEEK. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Hello Followers,

It’s Monday! Wow, wasn’t Monday the other day.

It seems like I just was blogging a post last Monday and here it comes again. Time, for Dan and I come and go so fast; I want it to slow down a little.

How about you?

On this exact month and day 39 years ago, Dan and I said I dos.

Our marriage started out as an adventure and we continue to explore, as you can see throughout my postings. So today, I would like to wish my better half a Happy Anniversary, for he is the rock that gives us strength together as one.

Through the ups and downs, the roller coaster of cancer; he gave me the passion to take a different approach other then conventional medicine. And through it all we have gained knowledge and fear no more.

Now, Dan and I will be starting a new series of THOUGHTS AND WORDS.

THOUGHTS AND WORDS can incite anger or invoke passion.

They can bring people together or tear them apart.

THOUGHTS AND WORDS can uphold the truth or nurture a lie. We use words to encompass history, to describe the natural universe, and even to conjure realistic visions of things that exist only in fantasy.

In fact, in some mythology, spoken words are thought to be so powerful that they can create worlds, creatures, and human beings.

QUOTES ABOUT LIVING

THOUGHTS AND WORDS

Our thoughts are always true to our feelings.

We and only we know for certain what they are.

Before they become words, they may turn into what we think others would like to hear, but our thoughts do not change.

Others can assume only that our words are our thoughts, and they will react and respond to our words alone.

This is way it’s so important to always speak true to your thoughts.

Others may not approve of or agree with what you say.

Speaking your truth takes courage, but it is essential to relationships built on honesty and trust.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

THROUGH PICTURES

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

This is where we continue on the book: LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Today’s post will begin on – MAKING THE CHOICE!

Most people would stay if commitment could turn a difficult relationship around.

Few of us fear a little hard work if it is guaranteed to bring results.

But there are no guarantees, no charts that we can use to measure our sacrifice against progress in moving the relationship forward.

So, we wail and we wallow in our remorse and pain. We cling, beg, hold on as if our life depended on it.

We yell and blame. We stomp out. Wouldn’t it be nice if we knew when to hang on tenaciously and when to bail out?

The more bonded we are by time, effort, and commitment, the more painful it is to leave a significant relationship.

They recognize that no one is perfect, including themselves. They know about perseverance, overcoming, and grace. They may even try to love in spite of the imperfections, which may be the greatest love of all.

When they succeed, if they do so without bitterness and rancor, they become beacons to the rest of us.

Continue tomorrow on CHAPTER FOUR – GET OFF THE FENCE; MAKING THE CHANGE.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of ROSEMARY. It’s amazing what and how rosemary can help keep your body healthy?

Rosemary prevents macular degeneration. Macular degeneration is a progressive breakdown of the macula in the eye, possibly causing partial blindness in older persons.

As this condition ensues, vision deteriorates until images become hardly recognizable.

Rosemary may help prevent or at least slow macular degeneration, helping to preserve vision well beyond what it would have been left unattended.

Also, rosemary provides support for the liver and lungs. Rosemary extract may help prevent liver damage since it can decrease markers of oxidative stress in the liver.

It may also offer protection to the liver tissue from disease and prevent liver glycogen (energy storage molecule) from depleting.

It also helps reset elevated liver enzymes, a precursor sign of liver failure or hepatitis.

Stay tune, more benefits to come.

NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth

THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.

As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).

I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!

Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!

Also, meditation videos, help to lower stress and is also one of the first steps to making your cells happy; click on https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/meditation

Again, they are no more than 10 to 20 mins and they are guided meditations.

Positive Thinking Meditation: Endorphin Meditation with Positive Affirmations

Getting in touch with the positives in life. Focusing on the positives, positive thinking, rather than the negatives in our lives makes a real difference to how we feel on a day-to-day basis.

It motivates us, enables us to feel inspired, brings hope, nurtures healthy self-esteem, builds self-confidence and makes us happy.

Neuroscience suggests that we can train ourselves to feel good and think positively, just like anything else, it's a learned ability and the more we do it the easier it becomes as we grow the neural pathways and collect cellular memory to take us there again.

It's a powerful yet gentle form of self-help for depression.

Endorphin meditation is a recognized way to boost the body's production of mood enhancing, pain relieving opiates.

“Surrender is a gift that you can give yourself. It’s an act of faith. It’s saying that even though I can’t see where this river is flowing, I trust it will take me in the right direction.” ~ Debbie Ford

We are still working on Qigong video’s to be posted on the website for easy access, until now you can go to the blog https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/blog and on the right-hand side are hash # tag words, just click on the word #walk #Qigong #meditation. The post will pop up and then you can begin. Have fun with it!

CREATIVE FORCE💬

New series on thoughts and words. Kind words are a creative force, a power that concurs in the building up of all that is good, and energy that showers blessings upon the world.

Until Tuesday, words are the most powerful thing in the universe.

Words are containers.

They contain faith, or fear, and they produce after their kind.
