KNOWLEDGE IS A TREASURE, BUT PRACTICE IS THE KEY TO IT
DID YOU KNOW!

A fascinating new health alert shows that early exposure to screens can affect brain development in infants.
Studies reveal that babies under two who spend significant time on tablets, phones, or TVs may face permanent changes in brain structure, potentially impacting learning, attention, and cognitive function later in life.
Researchers explain that the first two years of life are critical for neural connections to form.
Excessive screen time can limit opportunities for essential hands-on learning, social interaction, and sensory experiences.
This may slow language development, memory formation, and emotional regulation, emphasizing the importance of mindful technology use in early childhood.
Protecting your baby’s brain is simple with conscious habits.
Limit screen exposure for infants, encourage interactive play, reading, and social engagement, and provide opportunities for movement and exploration.
These natural experiences stimulate healthy brain development while supporting long-term cognitive and emotional growth.
Sometimes the choices we make in the earliest years can shape a child’s lifelong potential.
Are you mindful of how much screen time your little one is exposed to?
Dan and I welcome you to join us with the next book for our book club.
LIFE LESSONS FROM THE OCEAN, soothing wisdom from the sea – By Richard Harrtington
CARE FOR OTHERS
Humpbacks are magnificent whales, growing to over fifty feet long.
Adults are too big for most predators to take on, but it takes over a decade for a whale’s calf to grow to adult size.
Orca, and large sharks such as tiger sharks, could kill or injure in a calf, and a whale mother will care consistently for its youngster for several years, doing her utmost to ward off all predators.
Humpbacks will even help others, chasing predators away from hunted seals and, on occasion, have helpfully intervened where humans have been in danger in the sea.
Feeling drained or overwhelmed?
This gentle guided meditation will help you reconnect with your inner light and reset your energy.
You will be guided to visualize a healing light entering and flowing through your body, melting away tension and restoring balance.
Until Saturday, chamomile is a-maize-ing for calming nerves.
