Hello Followers,

HAPPY WEEKEND!

Life is a beautiful journey that is meant to be embraced to the fullest every day.

However, that does not mean you always wake up ready to seize the day.

Sometimes, you need a reminder that life is a great gift.

Life is ten percent what happens to you and ninety percent how you respond to it.

It is time to dive into the incredible health benefits of ginger and explore easy ways to incorporate it into your lifestyle today.

The truth is always a little ginger.

So, again do not underestimate the power of spices and herbs in promoting health.

Ginger is known to inhibit bacterial, viral, and fungal infections, owing to the presence of gingerol in it.

It may also help in maintaining oral health by killing the pathogens in the mouth and keeping the teeth and gums intact.

Its potential antibacterial properties may help ward off pathogenic bacteria that cause urinary tract infections (UTI), bronchitis.

KNOWLEDGE IS A TREASURE, BUT PRACTICE IS THE KEY TO IT

DID YOU KNOW!

Compounds in everyday plums may help cancer cells destroy themselves from the inside out.

Scientists studying the natural compounds in plums have discovered something remarkable.

Plums are rich in polyphenols, powerful plant-based antioxidants known for their anti-inflammatory and cell-protective effects.

In laboratory studies, these polyphenols have been shown to trigger apoptosis, a natural process where unhealthy or abnormal cells are essentially self-destruct.

For cancer cells, apoptosis is a critical fail-safe mechanism that stops tumors from growing or spreading.

What makes plum polyphenols particularly interesting is how selectively they work.

In controlled experiments, the compounds targeted cancer cells while leaving healthy cells unharmed.

Researchers believe this may be due to the way polyphenols influence signaling pathways inside the cell.

By disrupting the energy balance and damaging the mitochondria of cancer cells, they set off the chain reaction that leads to programmed cell death.

This ability to distinguish between healthy and malignant cells is one of the holy grails of cancer prevention and therapy.

Regular consumption of plums as part of a balanced diet also brings other benefits.

They are packed with vitamin C, vitamin K, and dietary fiber, all of which help support immunity and gut health.

While no single food is a cure for cancer, incorporating antioxidant-rich fruits like plums may help reduce oxidative stress and support the body’s natural defenses over time.

Researchers continue to explore how plum-derived compounds might be developed into supplements or treatments that complement conventional therapies.

For now, adding fresh plums or even dried plums (prunes) to your meals is a simple and tasty way to give your body more of these health-protective molecules.

Fun Fact

Plums belong to the same fruit family as peaches and cherries, and their deep purple color is a visual sign of the anthocyanins and polyphenols that provide their powerful antioxidant punch.

LIFE LESSONS FROM THE OCEAN, soothing wisdom from the sea – By Richard Harrtington

LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING

The banded sea krait is a sea snake, with one of the most potent venoms of all snakes.

It rarely bites humans, as its usual diet is fish and it has a very small mouth, unsuited to biting large prey.

It is certainly best avoided; something the harmless harlequin snake eel has evolved to take advantage of.

Living in the same places as the krait, it can swim largely without fear of being attacked by predators that would probably find rather tasty.

Mimicry is common in the underwater world, sometimes it is hard to tell who is who.

This 10-minute guided meditation will help you relax with a sense of trust in life so that you can enjoy a sense of flow, ease, and grace.

Non-resistance is an excellent tool for deliberate creation as the energy of trust in the Universe creates positive expectations that bring about positive experiences.
