People throw stones at you and you convert them into milestones.

CONTINUING ON THE NEW SERIES, REMEMBER TO CELEBRATE MILESTONES AS YOU PREPARE FOR THE ROAD AHEAD AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE HERB – DANDELION.

Hello Followers,

Happy Hump Day!

The week is half way done.

Wow, are you making milestones this week?

And while everyone experiences some unique and personal milestones, there are also some that almost everyone has in common.

Yesterday’s post Dan and I shared the first experience that we all experience, which was being born.

Today we are going to explore the 2nd experience that we all experience and that is, learning how to walk and talk.

Yes, another milestone that you likely don’t remember, that actually has two events.

Learning how to walk, and learning how to talk.

Everyone picks up these skills at a different pace.

But generally, we’re walking by the age of one and talking by the age of two.

Do you know when you first spoke mama or dada?

Or when you first took your first step?

If you’re still connected to the family members who were around at that time, you can ask them to tell you what it was like when you took your first steps or said your first words.

If you’re lucky, someone might have even captured those precious moments on video or snapped a photo.

It’s the 8th day of June, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about June that’s so significant during this month?

It’s World Oceans Day – June 8, 2022

The Ocean Project has coordinated the June 8 World Oceans Day for the past 17 years.

It’s a crucial environmental issue.

We get both foods and medicines from the deep blue, and it helps to keep the climate in check.

Oh, and there’s this thing about water being the lungs of the earth.

As it turns out, the majority of oxygen we breathe comes from the ocean.

We always felt that the waves breathed some life into us.

Once or twice, it was the lifeguard, but that doesn’t diminish the worth of one our most valuable resources.

However, if we don’t take the steps to conserve it, we’ll lose a lot more than a spot for a weekend getaway.

So, dive in and do your part to keep big blue going strong.

Dan and I have been very passionate in spreading topics on a healthier lifestyle, water pollution is one of the steps to keeping healthy.

We had done a series on this very subject, check it out-

Also, its National Best Friends Day – June 8, 2022.

Whether they’re near or far, old or new, best friends help to carry us through our lives.

This June 8, National Best Friends Day, it’s time to tell them how much we appreciate their company.

As the Mayo Clinic reports, friends help you cope with traumas; such as divorce, serious illness, job loss, or the death of a loved one.

They also encourage you to change or avoid unhealthy lifestyle habits, such as excessive drinking or lack of exercise.

Today’s the day to enjoy a little one-on-one time with the people who never fail to catch us when we fall.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

IF YOU SPEND YOUR WHOLE LIFE WAITING FOR THE STROM, YOU’LL NEVER ENJOY THE SUNSHINE.

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Chapter 16; IS DIFFERENT SCREWED UP?

Today continuing on, REALITY CHECK THREE; THE EFFECTS OF PERSONALITY-

Your choice is influenced by your personality.

The comment that you would appreciate may reveal to someone else a lack of concern or, on the other side, may be considered meddling or controlling.

Personality also affects whether we need to be with people or by ourselves.

Just as our physical body requires energy, emotions require energy.

We feed our body food.

If we are extroverts, we feed our emotions by being with people.

If we are introverts, we reenergize by being alone, separated from others.

The label has nothing to do with the way people act when they are together.

An introvert may be charming, outgoing and the life of the party.

An extrovert may be quiet, reserved and hesitant to share their opinion.

Continue tomorrow-

This is the spot that Dan and I have been posting, on the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs.

This week Dan and I have been blogging on the herb; DANDELION and the benefits.

It’s amazing what and how dandelion can help keep your body healthy?

More than 80 million pounds of herbicides are used on lawns.

Most specifically against dandelions each year.

Many of these chemicals either have not been tested for safety or have been shown to have a strong correlation with cancer.

Children and fetuses are the most susceptible.

If harvesting your own dandelions, be sure to harvest in an area free from harmful chemicals.

For more information on land pollution, see the past series that Dan and I posted prior on the blog;

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

THROWING STONES💎

People throw stones at you and you convert them into milestones. #people#throwstones#stones#atyou#convert#intomilestones#celebratemilestones

Until Thursday, progress is measured by milestones. What many good people lack are markers that might tell them how they are actually doing. Goals can become a ritual or a fetish, but in the right measure they can give us some much-needed reference points. No wonder some seem discouraged! Minus such milestones, we often feel minus in our lives.
