The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them.

SERIES OF TRUST AND CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Hello followers,

It’s the weekend and July 4th weekend at that! We made it home last night around 9:30 pm, as we were driving while looking at the sunset over the mountains.

The scenery was breathtaking. I tried to take some pictures, but none of them turned out the way Dan and my eyes were seeing it. Also, as we arrived in Virginia a lit up sign appeared that said “YOU ARE NOT FIREWORKS SO DON’T DRIVE LIT”. I am sure we all can understand it’s meaning so stay safe and smart when you have to drive.

Heckle was safe and sound! He was so excited to see us, I right away took him out of his tank and left him walk around. This morning I got him situated and got his playground set up again for him to enjoy.

I want to take this time to thank both Ron’s for watching Heckle while we were gone on our road trip to Florida. It’s very important to trust! Trust is at the heart of every relationship in life, personal and professional.

How do Dan and I build trust? Sometimes it takes a lot of time and patience to build trust, we assess, analyses and look for evidence to prove points. Sometimes, though, perhaps Hemingway’s quote can be our anchor.

The best way to find out if you can trust somebody is to trust them.

So, before giving some thought of choosing to trust, let me first recognize that to prove points, analysis, evidence, and time are all absolutely valid in building and maintaining trust.

We believe that there is always a balance between choosing to trust and building trust.

There are no absolutes in life. No absolute proof, no absolute guarantees, so there is always an element of choosing to trust.

In terms of the speed of building trust though, choosing to trust someone is absolutely the way to find out if you can trust them, as well as being the fastest way to find out.

It can feel risky, as you may find out you can’t trust them. This can mean that you feel at risk as you choose to trust. You can, however, create boundaries and, in professional rather than personal life, sets of rules and compliance procedures etc. Trust then verifies, perhaps!

QUOTES ABOUT LIVING

TRUST

It’s never a good time for bad news, but it’s always the right time for the truth. The longer a lie is held, the more difficult it becomes to reveal the truth.

If it’s held a long time, two truths must be told; the original lie and the reason it was told and covered up too many times for so long. One lie becomes a thousand, but one is easier to forgive and maintain trust than many. Revealing a lie is painful, but sooner is always easier, less painful, and better than later.

SABORGI VEGETABLES GOURMET (ENGLISH) - Aug 25, 2015

SABORGI VEGETABLES GOURMET

In today’s world, we take food for granted. Just because the FDA approves processed foods deemed eatable does not mean that it is good for you. You are what you eat and food has a lot to do with your functions in everyday life.

Since living in Ajijic Mexico, I have been going to the Tuesday Market which sells organic and natural foods. There is this one family-owned business “SABORGI” who’s stands by their products and motto, {we protect the environment & take care of you}.

I had the honor to interview Gabriel Ortiz Isaac and see firsthand the passion that the family has in our children’s future. The dedication of educating not just the Spanish people, but the ex-pats that live and visit this area.

We all need to learn from them the importance of what we eat.

Check out the face book page Saborgi Gourmet or e-mail them at ventas@saborgi.com. The phone number is 33 3128 4530.

NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth

THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.

As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).

I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!

Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!

Also, meditation videos, help to lower stress and is also one of the first steps to making your cells happy; click on https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/meditation . Again, they are no more than 10 to 20 mins and they are guided meditations.

“Surrender is a gift that you can give yourself. It’s an act of faith. It’s saying that even though I can’t see where this river is flowing, I trust it will take me in the right direction.” ~ Debbie Ford

We are still working on Qigong video’s to be posted on the website for easy access, until now you can go to the blog https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/blog and on the right-hand side are hash # tag words, just click on the word #walk #Qigong #meditation. The post will pop up and then you can begin. Have fun with it!
