Today go out with the flow of life and trust the process. Do not stress over things you cannot control.

Hello followers,

Happy Sunday!

Did you know researchers have found that people who have a greater sense of control engage in healthier behaviors, experience less distress, and have greater overall psychological well-being!

But while the illusion of control can motivate people to act and feel better about themselves, it also has downsides.

Since people feel they have power over situations where they largely have none, they may blame themselves and experience regret and recrimination when things do not go their way.

Because it creates a false sense of control, it may lead people to take unnecessary risks.

For example, a gambler might risk large amounts of money because they mistakenly think that their own actions have any effect on a game that relies on random chance.

This can have devastating financial consequences that have long-term effects on an individual's life.

This illusion can also affect the type of risks financial traders make when they are making investments in the stock market.

One study found that the more control traders felt they had over the market, the worse their actual performance was.

Another issue is that the successes tend to reinforce belief in individual control, but failures tend to be discredited or ignored.

Because people only look for information that confirms their existing beliefs, it makes it more difficult to learn from past mistakes.

Instead of improving performance based on accurate feedback about what people have control over, the illusion of control leads people to focus their attention on things that don’t impact the outcome.

We are always in transition. If you can just relax with that, you will have no problem.

You can’t control everything, no matter how hard you try.

Out of all the things you can try to change, your thoughts are the most important to focus on.

I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become.

Learning to let go should be learned before learning to get. Life should be touched, not strangled.

Whatever comes, let it come, what stays let stay, what goes let go.

Know that everything is in perfect order whether you understand it or not.

As Dan and I start a new year; we will be posting daily 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.

The book is SUNRISE GRATITUDE by Emily Silva.

March 26th

GIVE YOURSELF SOME LOVE today with these words; I am love.

My heart expands as I give love to myself and others.

I choose to practice acceptance today and extend grace when needed.

I am grateful for the love in my life.

Love is an abundant, universe force, and I send it out freely.

Just like everyone else, I too desire love and am thankful for the people who love me exactly as I am.

Today I offer unconditional love to myself.

Love has the power to heal.

PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, Tai Chi, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

Until Monday, if you focus on the things that you can control, your life will flow much more manageable. Have faith in the process and trust that everything will work out for the best. Stressing over the things you cannot control would not change anything

except your attitude and well-being.
