You must be the change you want to see in the world.

Hello followers,

My how time flies by, it’s the weekend! Happy Saturday, what’s everyone doing this weekend?

This past year, Dan and I have been hearing that there must be change in the world. We are learning, if you want change, you must start inside yourself.

You must be the change you want to see in the world. As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world; that is the myth of the atomic age, as in being able to remake ourselves.

If you change yourself, you will change your world. If you change how, you think then you will change how you feel and what actions you take. And so, the world around you will change.

Not only because you are now viewing your environment through new lenses of thoughts and emotions but also because the change within can allow you to take action in ways you wouldn't have, or maybe even have thought about while stuck in your old thought patterns.

The problem with changing your outer world without changing yourself is that you will still be you when you reach that change you have strived for. You will still have your flaws, anger, laziness, negativity intact. So, in this new situation you will still not find what you hoped for since your mind is still seeping with that negative stuff.

You are in control! Nobody can hurt you without your permission.

What you feel and how you react to something is always up to you. There may be a normal or a common way to react to different things. But that's mostly just all it is.

Have a great weekend 😀make dreams happen. #weekend # dreams #happen

You can choose your own thoughts, reactions and emotions to pretty much everything. You don't have to overthink, freak out, worry or even react in a negative way. Perhaps not every time or instantly. As you realize that no-one outside of yourself can actually control how you feel you can start to incorporate this thinking into your daily life and develop it as a thought habit.

A habit that you can grow stronger and stronger over time. Doing this makes life a whole lot easier and more pleasurable.

The best way to overcome the inner resistance that often stops us from taking action is to stay in the present as much as possible and to be accepting.

Well, when you are in the present moment you don't worry about the next moment that you can't control anyway. The resistance to action that comes from you imagining negative future consequences, or reflecting on past failures; of your actions loses its power.

So, it becomes easier to both take action and to keep your focus on this moment and perform better.

If you want change, you must start inside yourself. If you are unhappy with something or someone in your life, ending a relationship with it will not solve the problem, it will just show up again in your life with a different name and different face. Do you know a person who goes from one bad relationship to another?

Are you that person?

Remember, the outside world is just a mirror.

For change to occur, it must begin with you.

With a smartphone in your hand, you are never truly alone. If you’ve got a few minutes while waiting for a friend or a takeaway coffee, it’s all too easy to grab your phone and start scrolling.

Next time leave your phone tucked away and look around you.

Take in your surroundings; notice the view from the window or the other people in the coffee shop with you. You’ll feel much more connected with the world if you spend some time acknowledging what is going on around you.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. Today I’m going to continue blogging on the herb – NUTMEG. Now since I’m home from my mini vacation and have the book of recipes, next week I’ll share some with the ingredients of nutmeg.

Continuing on some more benefits of nutmeg. Nutmeg has essential minerals such as calcium, manganese, iron, and potassium. All of these minerals offer various benefits for your circulatory system. They aid with the regulation of healthy blood pressure while also boosting your blood circulation. For those who suffer from stress, these minerals are key in offering relief from general and chronic stress. Chronic stress can lead to high blood pressure, heart disease, hypertension, and others.

The minerals in nutmeg help to relax the blood vessels in the body and thus better maintain proper blood pressure levels. For those who suffer from circulation problems due to age or even due to a condition, the relaxation of the blood vessels can help improve circulation by thinning the blood cells and reducing the amount of pressure that is being placed on the arteries and veins. Not only will this help with circulation, but it will also improve your overall heart function.

Nutmeg is a great friend of the liver. It contains a compound called myrislignan, which is highly beneficial for this important organ. Myrislignan is able to help heal liver injuries as well as treat disorders of the liver. According to many scientific studies, nutmeg is also helpful in treating the inflammations caused by hepatitis. For use in treating hepatitis, nutmeg extract is more effective than nutmeg powder consumed in drinks or as a food flavoring.

Nutmeg is well known for offering anti-inflammatory properties throughout the body.

These same anti-inflammatory properties work to treat inflamed livers. Nutmeg also helps the body to rid itself of toxins which in turn helps the liver to function more effectively. Many doctors all over the world have used nutmeg to treat liver disorders alongside traditional treatments.

Free-radicals in the liver can be very harmful, nutmeg helps to inhibit the damage caused by free radicals in the liver.

As I continue to share portions of my book that I wrote four years ago; sharing Dan and my personal journey of our everyday experience with treatments that we received in Mexico. In relations to the current series of QUOTES ABOUT LIVING, 1-13-11; HEADACHE

Today I woke up with a headache and it is now just hitting me. My journey is merely starting regarding the treatment. At 7:00 a.m. someone from the lab department awoke me and took blood.

The chef came in, explaining they would be feeding us organic foods and all day we would have amazing meals. He asked if there is anything we like, and I replied surprise us (HAHAHA).

While I was still feeling sick, a person entered my room, telling me it was time for an X-ray. I was brought down for an ultra sound and although unable to speak Spanish I began using hand signals to relate to the radiologist. We were able to understand one another!

When the doctor found out I was having a headache, he was angry at me for not contacting him. He did not want me to be under any stress. He ordered something for the pain.

I advised him I am a baby at heart and have a hard time taking pills. He informed me not to worry; he would give me medication that I would not have to swallow. Within ten minutes the nurse came in with a pill that I placed under my tongue and it dissolved by itself. I must say they are very understanding here.

I asked the physician today if it was all right to do my blog so I can inform people back home and he replied yes. He said we cannot change our situation, but we can change our environment.

This is a life changing process. My outcome is great per my doctor.

The doctors are going to start my treatment tomorrow. All my blood tests came back good.

They are teaching us about how to keep healthy. Until tomorrow have an amazing night.

Now, this is a good time to close your eyes and imagine with colors how you can change the lives of cancer patients. There are many mixed emotions and moods that follow.

Cancer is a powerful word, but we can change that!! We need to change our environment by our food we eat and the amount of water we drink and the exercise we do. Our body blueprint with the proper vitamins can be controlled.

Think about the last paragraph--wouldn’t that be nice, if we could control our body blueprint?

As you read, I will show you proof it can be done. Some of you will eat those words when you see the results of my journey and how I controlled my cancer and managed it.

As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress). So, by now you know this is always in our routine for healing and keeping our body cells happy.

I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!

Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!

Also, meditation videos, help to lower stress and is also one of the first steps to making your cells happy; click on . Again, they are no more than 10 to 20 mins and they are guided meditations.

We are still working on Qigong video’s to be posted on the website for easy access, until now you can go to the blog and on the right-hand side are hash # tag words, just click on the word #walk #Qigong #meditation. The post will pop up and then you can begin. Have fun with it!

Until Sunday, happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony. Always aim at complete harmony of thought and word and deed. Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well.
