CONTINUING ON A BRAND-NEW SERIES, YOU CAN DO IT AND CONTINUING ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE HERB – CHAMOMILE.

Hello Followers,

Rise and shine!

Here comes Tuesday, enjoy.

Today Dan and I continue to educate and share our experiences on life change, the third important step is; plan ahead.

Not planning ahead will almost always set you up for failure.

How many times have you been on a healthy eating plan and forgot your sack lunch and fast food is all there is in sight?

Dan and I believed once upon a time that the food in the super market was all good.

Who thought that the FDA would sway us to bad food!

Who thought that fast food wasn’t real food!

It's so easy to be healthy when you plan ahead.

It just takes a little education.

Sometimes it doesn't even feel like work!

All it takes is a few minutes out of your day, the veggies won't wash and cut themselves and you can be set for the week.

Imagine opening the refrigerator and seeing healthy food already prepped and ready for you.

Take the time to think about the next week or month.

What do you need to make good choices?

Food prep?

Packing gym clothes, the night before?

A water bottle you can take with you?

We tend to get derailed when we're tired, overwhelmed, or running late.

Know what may get you tripped up for the week, like a late meeting and plan for it.

YOU CAN DO IT!

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

DON’T LET OTHERS TELL YOU WHAT YOU CAN’T DO. DON’T LET THE LIMITATIONS OF OTHERS LIMIT YOUR VISION. IF YOU CAN REMOVE YOUR SELF-DOUBT AND BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, YOU CAN ACHIEVE WHAT YOU NEVER THOUGHT POSSIBLE.

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Continuing on CHAPTER 14; HOW MANY TIMES DO I SAY “SORRY”?

WHEN YOU CAN’T APOLOGIZE-

Sometimes an apology face-to-face, written, or by phone is not possible.

Death, health problems, politics of the situation, moves, and even resistance may not allow it.

You may not be able to apologize.

It may be too late, for someone to apologize to you.

From the horrific guilt, it is not the act of apologizing or being apologized to that frees us from guilt.

It is where we focus on the guilt or the lessons of the past or the present.

No one can change their past experience, but each of us can change our present by seeing the past mistakes, hurts, and injustice as just what they are -the past.

Apologize to yourself that you did something wrong or that you clung to someone else’s hurts and wasted your precious time, if you can’t apologize directly to the person.

Say to yourself, I’m sorry I blew it.

I’m sorry I wasted a precious opportunity.

I’m sorry I hurt someone.

I will use that failure to learn better ways to handle present difficulties.

Continue tomorrow-

Dan and I have been posting, on the time to get ready for food and remedies that

heal; alchemy of herbs.

Today blogging on the herb; CHAMOMILE and the benefits.

It’s amazing what and how chamomile can help keep your body healthy?

Are you ready to continue with the herb chamomile!

How about another recipe?

CHAMOMILE ICE POPS

Since it is almost summer, these pops are a tasty treat for a hot day.

The recipe is formulated to replace electrolytes, helping to rehydrate kids who have been playing hard on a hot summer day.

This is great for those recovering from a digestive illness such as diarrhea, upset tummy, or even vomiting.

For this recipe, you will need small wooden sticks and some kind of ice cream mold-paper cups will do.

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons of dried chamomile

1 tablespoon dried hibiscus

3 to 4 tablespoons honey or to taste

Pinch of salt

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 cup Greek yogurt

Instructions:

1. Bring 1 ¼ cups of water to a boil.

2. Put the chamomile and hibiscus in a cup and pour the boiling water over the herbs.

3. Let steep for 10 minutes.

4. Strain the tea into a small bowl.

5. While the mixture is still hot, add honey to taste.

6. Stir well, so the honey combines with the tea.

7. Add the salt and lemon juice.

8. Stir well.

9. Let the mixture cool a little, approximately 5 minutes.

10. Add the yogurt and mix well.

11. Pour the mixture into molds or paper cups and insert wooden sticks in the center.

12. Place these in the freezer until frozen solid (this will take several hours).

13. These will be best if eaten within 1 week, before freezer burn sets in.

14. ENJOY.

The month of April we continue with this PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.
