Better things are waiting ahead of us than those we leave behind, like more milestones.

THIS WEEK’S SERIES ARE ON REMEMBER TO CELEBRATE MILESTONES AS YOU PREPARE FOR THE ROAD AHEAD AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE HERB – ASHWAGANDHA.

Hello Followers,

Rolling over from yesterday; QUESTION???

How do you measure your success and progress without standard markers?

What about all those moments that reveal your values, such as humility and acceptance, or that show us our greatness?

They may be less spectacular or outwardly notable to others, but your markers often play a more significant role in defining your life values, your sense of self, and your place in the world.

These markers can change your lifestyle; which can change your health.

Now, let’s continue with exploring the 15th experience that most all experience.

We all go through this; finding your own path in life.

Just as you found things you were good at as a child; most people find their path in life as adults.

You might find the things you value most; friends, family, health, and you might have found your dream job.

Ultimately, finding your path in life means deciding on the things that are most important to you.

As you find your path, you’ll find people along the line that value you and your ideas.

For me and Dan we have journeyed the same path and enjoy the same goals.

It’s the 21st day of June, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about June that’s so significant during this month?

World Day of Music – June 21, 2022

Most of us have an innate understanding of music.

Even if we can’t play an instrument, or even sing, somehow, we can connect with rhythms and melodies.

Heck, even plants understand music.

Did you know they tend to grow faster after a generous helping of classical music?

It’s true!

World Day of Music or Fête de la Musique, celebrated each June 21, was first started in France but today highlights music’s universal appeal.

It’s meant to make music more inclusive and encourage people of varying skill levels to interact a lot more with all types of tunes.

World Day of Music is also an opportunity for musicians to build their presence and connect with their audience on social media.

From the oldest musical instrument in the world; the Neanderthal flute, made by Neanderthals 60,000 years ago.

To present-day electronic instruments, music has become a significant part of our daily lives.

Other than being pleasant to listen to, music is a form of expression, the right melody resonates with feelings better than words can and music transcends borders.

This is exactly what World Day of Music aims for; bringing people together, and breaking barriers and boundaries through music.

Dan and I did a lot of research on how music can change your body cells and mends, to help with a healthy lifestyle.

Also today is Summer Solstice – June 21, 2022

HAPPY SUMMER!

As the sun creeps up over the hills and into your town on June 21, you’ll know it’s here.

That blessed time of year when barbecues and beach trips reign, when work slows and summer holidays mean getting together with friends and family.

Just thinking about it likely brings up the smell of fresh cut grass and the taste of cold lemonade.

Summer Solstice also known as the first day of summer, has arrived.

People have celebrated this day for thousands of years.

Some of the earliest party animals were the ancient Mesopotamians, Celtic Druids, Chinese, and Egyptians, and all of these cultures had their own ways of celebrating that make even our craziest backyard barbecues look tame.

When was the last time you had a multi-story bonfire and danced around it?

That’s what we thought.

But cultures have had good reason to celebrate since ancient times right up until today.

When Dan and I lived in Mexico we experienced the way the Mexican Indian’s did for centuries.

So, enjoy the longest day of the year.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

JOY IS YOU AT THE DEEPEST LEVEL, AND YOUR JOY IS ONE WITH THE INFINITE TIMELESS JOY OF THIS UNBOUND UNIVERSE.

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 17; WHEN YOU WANT TO HELP

Available, eager, you search for possible ways to help, encourage and inspire.

You don’t want to be seen as a busybody or do something inappropriate, but you are concerned.

Your experience says, there are right and wrong ways to help.

You have watched friends or a parent who jumped in too fast with too much and destroyed the fragile lines that held a relationship together.

You know some who gave with strings that crippled.

You witnessed others who withdrew their support, and the person, who might have made it with a little extra help, collapsed.

Continue tomorrow –

This week Dan and I have been blogging on the herb; ASHWAGANDHA and the benefits.

It’s amazing what and how ashwagandha can help keep your body healthy?

Ashwagandha helps improve sleep.

Wow, next time I have problems with sleep; I’ll have to try!

Many people take ashwagandha to promote restful sleep, and some evidence suggests it may help with sleep issues.

For example, a study in 50 adults ages 65–80 found that taking 600 mg of ashwagandha root per day for 12 weeks significantly improved sleep quality and mental alertness upon waking compared with a placebo treatment.

Additionally, one review of five high quality studies found that ashwagandha had a small but significant positive effect on overall sleep quality.

Taking ashwagandha reduced people’s anxiety levels and helped them feel more alert when they woke up.

The researchers noted that results were more pronounced in people with insomnia and in those who took more than 600 mg daily for 8 weeks or longer.

NOTE: Recent evidence suggests that ashwagandha may be an effective natural remedy to improve sleep and may especially help people with insomnia.

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.
