If I’m going to tell a real story, I’m going to start with my name.

THIS WEEK DAN AND I WILL CONTINUE ON THE SERIES OF LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, THE HERB – ARTICHOKE. ALSO 101 WAYS TO HAPPINESS.

Hello followers,

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Today starts a new week and love is in the air.

As I woke up this morning, thinking what series should I start with for this Valentine’s Day.

And it hit me, why not living a great story.

When you understand, that what you're telling is just a story.

It isn't happening anymore.

When you realize the story, you're telling is just words, when you can just crumble up and throw your past in the trashcan, then we'll figure out who you're going to be.”

All great stories are stories of community.

Because living a great story, alone, is not possible.

To fully manifest your journey and craft your story into its full potential requires other people.

You have to do it with people that support you, that encourage you, that pull you forward.

And to live a great story, alone, is not worth it

101 WAYS TO HAPPINESS; by Mike Annesley.

Continuing from last year!

Since all the research of keeping healthy, leads to making your cells happy; this book will help your mental health to be happy.

That is the first step in keeping your cells happy and keeping your body healthy.

CHAPTER 4; HAPPILY, CONNECTED'

NEGOTIATE LIGHTLY

In any negotiation, try to be relaxed and friendly; even when the subject is serious.

And even when encounter coolness or brusqueness.

A light tone is helpful and doesn’t prevent you from sticking to your points.

Make it clear you offer trust, as this makes for better outcomes.

Use gentle humor, but not at the other’s expensive; if you can get someone to smile, confrontation is less likely.

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 12; FIGHT FAIR WITH UNFAIR PEOPLE

PUT IT TO WORK

The goal of sitting down to talk through problems with your difficult person is to find a way to get along, to be a team, to be supportive of each other, to partner.

The change in you may seem like a challenge to them.

They may attack verbally; withdraw; assail your competency, ability and intelligence; and bemoan your ingratitude.

The important thing at this point is your response.

Practice answering with such lines as these:

· Name-calling won’t get us anywhere.

· I’m sorry you do not understand my point. Let me state it again.

· You agreed to bear me out.

· There must be a problem or I wouldn’t be here and you wouldn’t be so defensive.

· I care or I wouldn’t talk to you about this.

· I believe you want a good relationship too.

· I know you are a caring person and I am sure your goal is the same as mine to support each other.

· I won’t accept your labeling.

· Please let’s keep to the topic.

· This does not involve others; we are talking about you and me.

· It’s not okay for you to talk to me that way.

· Let me state this again because I do not believe you heard me.

· Why are you responding with such rage?

Last year, Dan and I have been posting, this is the time to get ready for food and remedies that

heal; alchemy of herbs.

Starting today on the herb; ARTICHOKE and the benefits.

It’s amazing what and how artichoke can help keep your body healthy?

How to use artichoke?

Artichoke leaf can be used as a tincture, tea, or capsule.

To get the most benefit out of artichoke leaves you may need to take them in larger amounts by using a tincture or tea.

Since they are very bitter, it’s difficult to take too much of them.

Remember, artichoke leaf is not what is found in the vegetable section of your grocery store.

It can be special-ordered from herbal companies.

RECOMMENDED AMOUNTS

The therapeutic amount for artichoke is as follows;

As a tea or capsule – 2 to 6 grams per day

As tincture – 1:5, 30% alcohol, 3 to 5 mL, 3 times per day

SPECIAL CONSIDERATION

Avoid artichoke leaves if you have a known bile duct obstruction.
