If you can tune into your purpose and really align with it, setting goals so that your vision is an expression of that purpose, then life flows much more easily.

RECAPPING ON A NEW SERIES, WHAT IS LIFE ABOUT AND WHAT IS THE MEANING OF LIFE? AND WHY DO WE EXIST? PLUS, CONTINUING ON THE BOOK TEN-MINUTE RELAXATION FOR MIND AND BODY.

Hello followers,

Well, Autumn arrives in 5 days!

And yesterday morning, Dan and I had some visitors, a family of deer.

The mother deer was so gracefully allowing me to take pictures and a video.

Then off they went!

Hopefully this fall, they will be visiting more often.

So, let us begin as Dan and I have been blogging about our experiences with alternative treatments for cancer and the after care of keeping healthy; have taken it one step farther by adding a fundamental part of why we exist.

With everything going on in this world these days some of us are forgetting the properties of life.

On Friday blogging the properties of life, characteristic traits; organization and metabolism.

Today it will be, homeostasis!

Living organisms regulate their internal environment to maintain the relatively narrow range of conditions needed for cell function.

For instance, your body temperature needs to be relatively close to 98.6 degrees F∘

This maintenance of a stable internal environment, even in the face of a changing external environment, is known as homeostasis.

Tomorrow, Growth-

In combining our physical and mental functions, we can control our bodies and keep them healthy.

It took me a long time to realize this for myself.

Hopefully, this will help you, our followers.

So, let us discuss one of the seven life multipliers, that Dan and I have been posting on this week.

Yesterday we explored, Self-Empowerment.

Today it well be, Self-Control-

With self-control, you can consistently set clear goals and follow through your plan.

It means knowing how to build constructive habits and routines that support your goals.

Stay tune tomorrow, Renewable Vitality-

SEPTEMBER – 18th, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about September that is so significant during this month?

National Respect Day – September 18, 2022

‘RESPECT’ — these seven letters spell out something we all aspire to get and are taught to give out; see how National Respect Day encourages us to be more respectful to everyone and help others do the same on September 18 each year.

This year our event coincides with other special days like National Cheeseburger Day, World Bamboo Day, and even International Red Panda Day.

A dictionary definition calls respect as the feeling of admiration for someone or something, elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements.

We certainly were taught respect right from childhood.

We were told to respect our parents, elders, teachers, school rules, traffic rules, our country, and the list went on.

As adults, we have come to see why this respect matters, and we might even school those who do not show any such feelings towards others.

Another form of respect we have gradually learned about is respecting ourselves.

We learn about it, develop it, and struggle to maintain it in the face of challenge.

The significance of respect and self-respect is why most ancient and modern philosophers, particularly moral and political philosophers; are so drawn to these concepts.

Respect and self-respect, as concepts have shown up in discussions about justice and equality, cultural diversity and toleration, punishment, and political violence.

The theory of respect is central to many ethical debates as well, with some believing it is the very essence of morality and others basing it as the foundation of other moral philosophies.

Much of this focus stems from the German philosopher Immanuel Kant, the first such Western philosopher who put respect for persons as the center of moral theory.

He insisted that persons are ends in themselves, with an absolute dignity that must always be respected.

This has become a core thought of modern humanism and political liberalism.

Even today, most modern discussions about respect cite, depend on, or challenge Kant’s theories.

We are still confirming the origins of this holiday.

Don’t wait around for other people to be happy for you.

They always say time changes things, but you actually have to change them yourself.

The best bridge between despair and hope is a good night’s sleep.

If you can’t figure out your purpose, figure out your passion.

Efforts and courage are not enough without purpose and direction.

Thinking is the hardest work there is, which is the probable reason why so few engage in it.

People take different roads seeking fulfillment and happiness.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

LOOK AT EVERYTHING ALWAYS AS THOUGH YOU WERE SEEING IT EITHER FOR THE FIRST OR LAST TIME. THUS IS YOUR TIME ON EACH FILLED WITH GLORY.

Today Dan and I will be continuing the book, ten-minute relaxation, For mind and body by Jennie Harding.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are always with you; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy, meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.

CHAPTER 2; THE SENSORY JOURNEY; TASTE-

KEEPING AN INTERNAL BALANCE-

To understand the acid-alkaline relationship, look at the chart below.

The PH value is a numerical way of showing the difference, the lower the number, the higher the acidity.

Stomach acid is highly corrosive.

Alkaline-forming foods help to buffer the effect of acid-forming foods, which is why we eat them together like chicken (acid) and vegetables (alkaline).

Also, dairy and soybean products, in the right amount, help to regulate acidity or alkalinity.

We eat fruit (alkaline) with yogurt, bread (acid) with butter or vegetables (alkaline) with tofu; these combinations are easier for the body to digest.

Continue tomorrow-

As I ponder over all that I have learned, I have come to the findings that we all have our own blueprint.

Our bodies are precious and there are many components in taking care of them.

Throughout the blog, Dan and I have related the separate ways through body, heart, and soul.

It is all about power of knowledge and learning to take care of yourself, keeping your cells happy.

Our immune system is one of the key factors in keeping healthy.

It is important to know how it works!

Germs and Viruses????

For three centuries bacteria have been aliening and awe inspiring, even by sophisticated professors and dedicated students.

Most of us still think that these tiny living beings are primarily germs and pathogens.

They are often named by the symptoms they (sometimes) cause, the syphilitic spirochete, the plague bacterium, the cholera vibrio, and Legionella.

In this book, Dr Sorin Sonea and his late colleague Dr Maurice Panisset, have begun to set the record straight.

These organisms are not only our own ancestors but also are the basis of our life-support system.

They supply our atmospheric gases, they cleanse our water supply, and, in general, they ensure us a livable environment.

All our lives we have been taught that germs are bad, that they are out to harm us.

So, we bathe daily using plenty of soap, wash our hands constantly and would never think of eating a food morsel picked up from the floor.

We give the food morsel instead to the dog, which quickly gulps it down, hoping we will drop some more.

But dogs, generally, stay in better health than people; some of the most fastidious people get sick quite often.

Maybe there are more important things than germs and viruses to be concerned about; maybe we have the wrong idea about germs.

We continue tomorrow-

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

LIFE FLOWS

If you can tune into your purpose and really align with it, setting goals so that your vision is an expression of that purpose, then life flows much more easily. #ifyoucan#tuneinto#yourpurpose#really#align#setting#goals#vision#expression#purpose

Until Monday, true happiness…

is not attained through self-gratification, but through fidelity to a worthy purpose.
