Hello Followers,

Welcome to Thursday!

Your favorite color can have a profound impact on your mood and emotions.

MY FAVORITE COLOR IS YELLOW AND DAN'S IS ORANGE

Today let your creative dreams come alive on a colorful canvas and remind yourself of the beauty and wonder that color brings to your life.

Continuing today, Dan and I will be posting on how shades of colors around us impact our emotions.

Color impacts more than just emotions; it also influences behavior.

Businesses, for instance, use color strategically to shape consumer decisions:

Red and yellow are common in fast-food branding because they stimulate appetite and energy.

Blue and green are prevalent in healthcare and financial services to evoke trust and stability.

Black and white are staples in luxury branding for their sophistication and timeless appeal.

In everyday life, colors can affect productivity, focus, and even sleep patterns.

For example, blue light from screens can disrupt sleep by interfering with melatonin production.

Continuing today, Life’s is a Journey, not a Destination.

How to live for each moment and find adventure in every day, by Vicki Vrint.

Join us on our new adventure in living each moment and finding adventure in every day

Practice purposeful living.

Start each day with the intention of doing something that makes a difference.

However small, to your own life or someone else’s and then go ahead and do it.

When you wake up, decide on your worthwhile activity and write it down if you like.

Make sure it is something that inspires you to leap out of bed, not to hide under the sheets!

Today I am going to pay someone a compliment, pick up some litter, plan my dream road trip, declutter, and donate some clothes to charity.

Your sense of purpose will motivate you and you will get a great sense of satisfaction from achieving your goal.

THE MEANING OF LIFE IS TO FIND YOUR GIFT.

THE PURPOSE OF LIFE IS TO GIVE IT AWAY.

-Pablo Picasso

Today we are going to be talking about a self-help tool - color breathing.

First choose a color relating to how you might be feeling right now then make yourself

comfortable, sitting or lying down.

Close your eyes and bring your attention to your breathing.

Anytime there are other thoughts, images, sounds or sensations come to mind just notice them and then gently bring your attention back to your breathing and your color.

Perhaps imagine that you have a balloon in your belly and notice how the balloon inflates as you breathe in and deflates as you breathe out.

Notice the sensations in your abdomen as your belly rises as the balloon inflates on the in-breath and falls as the balloon deflates on the out breath.

Now visualize your color perhaps in the form of light or mist.

If it is difficult to visualize that color, just imagine in your mind's eye something that is that color for instance green grass or blue sea or sky, orange sunset or a pink dawn.

See it in front of you, or you feel it surrounding you and enveloping you as usual breath become aware of breathing in your color into your nose, your throat, your chest, and abdomen.

Imagine now that color spreading out within you into every part of your body and notice the effects that it has, notice the sensations in your body as this colored light or mist flows into and spreads throughout your body and mind.

Notice how the color is affecting your body and your mind as you allow it to gently flow and infuse your body and mind.

Continue to notice the color and the sensation that it brings.

Any time the attention wanders simply notice that it is wondered then gently bring your focus back to your color.

Whenever you are ready, start to bring your attention back to here and now where you are.

Open your eyes and look around, noticing what you see and what you hear, take a couple of breaths, and notice the pleasing sensations that accompany this relaxing-colored breathing.

Until Friday, happiness is a choice.

You can paint your day with vibrant colors even in the dreariest days.
