Let today be the start of something new.
THIS WEEK WE ARE CONTINUING ON SERIES, SOMETHING BIGGER THAN YOURSELF AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE HERB – DANDELION.
Welcome to the first Saturday of June!
Are you ready to be inspired?
Do you want to say goodbye to feelings of overwhelm, self-doubt, boredom or blah?
Are you being so ready to take a step forward on a journey towards a life with a little more creativity, joy, breathing room and space for the new?
You don't have to turn your life upside down to shake things up.
Making space for inspiration is easier than you think.
Since you're ready, and Dan and I are ready, let's start something fabulous, shall we?
LET’S MAKE SOMETHING BIGGER THAN YOURSELF!
Continuing on the topic of SOMETHING BIGGER THAN YOURSELF, DOING SOMETHING GREATER THAN YOURSELF; start some soul searching.
What are the ideals you strive to live up to?
What are the core principals you want to live by?
How can you make these more present in your everyday actions?
Identifying these purposes requires some deep thought and maybe even some soul-searching.
The power that real purpose brings to any effort makes it all worthwhile.
So, take the time to identify how you connect with something greater than yourself, and prepare for the power you will wield when you tap into that intention.
It’s the fourth day of June, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about June that’s so significant during this month?
National Cheese Day – June 4, 2022
June 4 is National Cheese Day.
Not to be confused with other popular cheese related holidays like grilled cheese day, cheesecake day, or mac and cheese day.
This day is in reverence of the queen of all dairy, the big cheese.
Cheese making is an ancient, some might even say sacred, craft.
So ancient in fact it predates recorded history.
It is speculated that the magic of cheese making began somewhere around 8000BCE shortly after the domestication of animals.
Archeological digs have found evidence of cheese around the world including strainers coated in milk-fat molecules in Kuyavia, Poland dated around 5500BCE, murals in Egypt dated at 2000BCE, and an artifact of preserved cheese in Xinjiang, China believed to be more than 3,000 years old!
European Imperialism took their styles of cheese through Asia, Africa, and eventually to the Americas.
The most popular cheese of all is obviously; mozzarella.
This delicious and pizza topping cheese was first created near Naples from the rich milk of water buffalos.
At the time, it rarely left its home near Naples, as it was made from pasteurized milk, and a lack of refrigeration meant it had a very short shelf life.
As both cheese technology and refrigeration systems advanced, this delicious cheese left the southern region of Italy and found itself traveling around the world.
There are two types of mozzarellas produced within the United States, low moisture and high moisture.
Low moisture mozzarella has a moisture content less than 50% while high moisture has a content of over 52%.
Low moisture is made specifically for transportation and mass production as the lack of moisture gives it a longer shelf life.
Today, cheese dishes can be found on every continent served savory, sweet, melted, deep fried, and even chilled in ice cream.
This household staple can still satisfy any craving after thousands of years.
FOR PET LOVERS, National Hug Your Cat Day – June 4, 2022
This goes out to my grand-cat, FAITH.
Ancient Egyptians worshipped, revered, and spoiled their cats; sound familiar?
They were seen as symbols of grace and poise; traits cats are still associated with today.
There’s a lot of cat hugging going on all the time, but make an extra special attempt during National Hug Your Cat Day on June 4.
The best way to celebrate?
Scoop your regal cat right off the ground and snuggle the heck out of it until it feels the love.
Sounds like a pleasant activity we can all get behind, no?
So, grab your kitty BFF and celebrate with us!
Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.
LIVING IN THE PRESENT MOMENT IS THE FULL AWARENESS AND APPRECIATION OF THE LIFE WE HAVE, RIGHT HERE AND RIGHT NOW.
Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.
Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.
A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Chapter 16; IS DIFFERENT SCREWED UP?
We shouldn’t try to change someone just because they are different.
If we do, we may be tampering with their basic nature and we may not be pleased with the consequences-
· We may destroy the person’s self-esteem.
· We may kill our relationship.
· We may lose the opportunity of learning to love someone for who they are, rather than for who we imagine the person to be.
· We may miss the opportunity to glean wisdom and breadth from their different vision
Tomorrow, READITY CHECK ONE- BASIC ASSUMPTIONS DIFFER
This is the spot that Dan and I have been posting, on the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs.
This week Dan and I have been blogging on the herb; DANDELION and the benefits.
It’s amazing what and how dandelion can help keep your body healthy?
Dandelion benefits against; Hypertension.
A third of all men in the United States suffer from hypertension with the rate only being a bit lower in females.
This has been a widespread issue for quite some time, but dandelion can actually help alleviate the condition and prevent other complications.
While it’s often seen as a condition that affects old people, it can start as early as age 20 so no one should neglect their health.
This is especially true for those who have a family history of hypertension.
The fact that dandelion increases the frequency of urination means that it will lower your overall blood pressure, reducing the risk of catastrophic events such as a stroke occurring.
It also reduces the levels of bad cholesterol in your blood through its antioxidant content.
This will clear out obstructions in your veins that may otherwise increase your blood pressure.
The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.
We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.
LET TODAY BE THE START
Until Sunday, if you find something greater than yourself, to move you!
Then you will make every single dream, become a reality!
