Lost time is never found again.

RECAP THE SERIES ON; POWER, TIME AND LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE FOR THE WEEK OF SEPT. 12th TO SEPT 18th. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Hello Followers,

I find it interesting that time is elastic and why time passes faster atop a mountain than at sea level.

If you have been following Dan and I you know that we had been living in Florida at sea level for many years.

While living their time traveled slowly, for that is how it seemed.

When living in Mexico and now in Virginia, both are surrounded around mountains, it seems to go faster.

Perhaps, it might be because we are older!

The idea of 'absolute time' is an illusion.

Physics and subjective experience reveal why.

Place one clock at the top of a mountain.

Place another on the beach.

Eventually, you’ll see that each clock tells a different time.

Why?

Time moves slower as you get closer to Earth, because, as Einstein posted in his theory of general relativity, the gravity of a large mass, like Earth, warps the space and time around it.

Scientists first observed this “time dilation” effect on the cosmic scale, such as when a star passes near a black hole.

Then, in 2010, researchers observed the same effect on a much smaller scale, using two extremely precise atomic clocks, one placed 33 centimeters higher than the other.

Again, time moved slower for the clock closer to Earth.

The differences were tiny, but the implications were massive: absolute time does not exist.

For each clock in the world, and for each of us, time passes slightly differently.

But even if time is passing at ever-fluctuating speeds throughout the universe, time is still passing in some kind of objective sense, right?

Maybe no

How many are you out there are left-handers?

I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.

It’s time to share some words from THE LEFT-HANDER’S HANDBOOK.

WHY ARE THINGS SO TOUGH ON LEFT-HANDERS?

Billy the Kid was almost assuredly one of those left-handers who embarrassed his family.

He is also without doubt the stuff of legend.

Theodore Blau also states that left-handers have difficulty following directions.

And have trouble completing projects.

They’re also likely to have speech problems.

And to top it all off, Blau claims that bedwetting among left-handers is likely to continue beyond the age of three.

QUOTES ABOUT LIVING

TIME

There’s really no such thing as making up for lost time, but you can make the absolute most of the time you have now.

Don’t lose another moment to should haves.

Appreciate now what’s in front of you and what’s coming in the days, weeks and years ahead.

Time must be good at hiding. If you don’t make an effort to find it, it sure will sneak up on you.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

THROUGH PICTURES

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

WITH PICTURES

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

19 PICTURES - ENJOY THE SLIDE SHOW

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

Tomorrow I will continue the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Lifelines –

v Broken bones heal more easily than a spirit that is wounded by abusive words or acts.

v Disintegration is the natural order; cohesion is a choice.

v Cruel words due to the spirit what a vacuum cleaner does to dirt, suck you in and entrap you.

v Tell yourself you are at a new beginning.

v The first step toward healing hidden wounds is the recognition that there is a problem that must be resolved.

v People spin because they except problems to resolve themselves.

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of THYME. It’s amazing what and how thyme can help keep your body healthy?

Now, are you ready for another recipe with thyme?

What about THYME AND CHERRY BARK COUGH SYRUP!

This cough syrup helps stop those dry, hacking and unproductive coughs.

The marshmallow root and honey help to moisten dry tissues and the wild cherry bark and thyme relieve the coughing reflex.

Because many of the herbs in this recipe are oddly shaped, it’s best to measure them by weight rather than volume.

Ingredients:

30 grams dried wild cherry bark

10 grams dried marshmallow root

7 grams dried thyme leaves

½ cup honey

¼ cup tart cherry juice concentrate

Instructions:

1. Combine the wild cherry bark, marshmallow root, and 2 cups of water to a pan.

2. Bring to a boil, then simmer, uncovered for 20 minutes.

3. The water should be reduced by roughly a half.

4. Remove from heat. Add the thyme and steep, covered for 5 minutes.

5. Strain off the herbs and measure the remaining liquid.

6. Add a half part honey and a quarter part tart cherry juice concentrate

7. If you have 1 cup of liquid, you would add ½ cup honey and ¼ cup tart cherry concentrate.

8. Store in the fridge, it should last for a month. It can also be frozen for later use.

9. To use: adults take 1 teaspoon every 30 minutes or as needed. Another option for this recipe is to add a lot less honey and sip it frequently as a tea. However, don’t drink it in one day. This recipe should last two days as a tea.

NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth

THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal keep your body cells happy.

As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while

managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).

I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!

Getting back into our routine walk. Yesterday was overcast and then came the ☔ rain.

But not before taking my findings along the way.

Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!

Also, meditation videos, help to lower stress and is also one of the first steps to making your cells happy; click on https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/meditation

Again, they are no more than 10 to 20 mins and they are guided meditations.

Guided Mindfulness Meditation - Trust the Timing of Your Life – Positive

This is a healing positive meditation for positive energy. I hope you enjoy this 10 Minute Guided Meditation - Trusting the Timing of Your Life - A boost of positive energy.

“Surrender is a gift that you can give yourself. It’s an act of faith. It’s saying that even though I can ‘see where this river is flowing, I trust it will take me in the right direction.” ~ Debbie Ford

We are still working on Qigong video’s to be posted on the website for easy access, until now you can go to the blog https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/blog and on the right-hand side are hash # tag words, just click on the word #walk #Qigong #meditation. The post will pop up and then you can begin. Have fun with it!
