So, today we will be exploring where do you start making milestones.
First starting where you are!
To set milestones, it’s not enough to know where you want to end up.
This is just as important as where you’re at now.
Looking at yourself objectively is tough.
Think about it, and ask others for a gut check.
If you’re not sure how your leadership skills stack up to people who eventually are pro, ask a trusted coach or teammate for their opinion.
As I have learned during my journey through breast cancer and Dan through prostate cancer, it’s about living in the now.
Wrapping up on exploring special experiences, we all look back at our life’s milestones.
As Dan and I have mentioned, not everyone experiences all of the milestones that I have been blogging.
For example, not everyone gets married or has children.
But we all experience major milestones in life that help us reflect on where we’ve been, who we’ve met, and what we’ve done.
Along the way, through these milestones; we learn.
They make us wiser.
It’s the 25th day of June, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about June that’s so significant during this month?
Goats Cheese Day – June 25, 2022
When being treated for my cancer in Mexico, I was told that the best cheese to eat was goat.
It was healthier!
While we were living in Mexico, every Tuesday at our farmer’s market; our go to cheese was goat.
We even would get goat yogurt.
As time went by, we got to know the vender and even experienced going to their goat farm.
To celebrate the wonders and benefits of this distinctively acidic, tangy cheese, Goat Cheese Day is celebrated every June 25 as a way to appreciate and bask in its wonders.
From the humble crumbly feta to the thick, viscous halloumi, goat’s cheese is a popular type of cheese consumed across the world.
Goats Cheese Day was initiated in 1998 by the American Cheese Society and French goat cheese producer Bongrain, now named Savencia Fromage & Dairy.
It was created to help raise awareness about the advantages of consuming goats’ cheese such as its health benefits and its distinctive flavor.
It is thought to have originated as far as 5000 B.C. in ancient Greece, where the goat is first domesticated.
In its simplest form, the cheese is made by allowing raw goat’s milk to naturally curdle, thus resulting in its distinctively sour, tangy flavor.
Because of this, the goat’s milk is responsible for shaping the taste of the cheese.
Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

CHAPTER 17; WHEN YOU WANT TO HELP
WHY HELPING IS DANGEROUS-
If you allow emotions to drive you toward easy solution, dependency mushrooms and twists the relationship into an unhealthy mix.
Even so, this may be your opportunity to make a difference.
Don’t be afraid to help but ground yourself in reality.
The person you want to change may never change, not in your lifetime; even in theirs.
It takes years to become screwed-up and takes years, if it ever happens; to unscrew the patterns that have become intrinsic.
Your help may not turn the person around; you may be just picking up the pieces.
But, of course, it is possible that your help is just what is needed for your SUP to have victory over screwed-up behavior.

This week Dan and I have been blogging on the herb; ASHWAGANDHA and the benefits.
It’s amazing what and how ashwagandha can help keep your body healthy?
Let’s take a look as special considerations of ashwagandha.
Use during pregnancy only under the advice of a qualified herbalist or health professional.
Do not take with barbiturates, as ashwagandha may potentiate their sedative effects.
Some people with nightshade sensitivities may not tolerate this herb, although this seems to be a small percentage.
Remember ashwagandha is a member of the nightshade family.
In Ayurvedic theory, ashwagandha shouldn’t be used if there is a current upper respiratory infection or lots of mucus congestion.
As Dan and I have been studying for months now on herbs, everything must be done in moderation.
The key is every one is individual and not everything will work for all.
We should not group our health as one.
The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.
