With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts.

STARTING THIS WEEK ON A BRAND-NEW SERIES, FOCUSING ON YOUR STRENGTH AND CONTINUING ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE HERB – COFFEE.

Hello Followers,

As Dan and I start blogging on focusing on your strength, most of us tend to not focus on our strengths and we are pressed to conform to the social norm of being modest.

As children, we are indirectly taught to focus on our weaknesses and this habit continues into adulthood.

Where again we tend to focus more on our weaknesses than our strengths.

This way of thinking is incorrect in that we believe it is our weaknesses, rather than our strengths, that are our greatest areas of growth.

Since it’s May, Dan and I thought it would be fun to share what is it about May that’s so significant during this month?

Let’s take a look at this a-may-zing month!

The word May wasn’t actually used until the Middle Ages were on their way out, around the 15th Century AD.

Up until then, the Roman word Maius was still used.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

SUCCESS IS NOT THE KEY TO HAPPINESS. HAPPINESS IS THE KEY TO SUCCESS. IF YOU LOVE WHAT YOU ARE DOING, YOU WILL BE SUCCESSFUL.

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 15; TOUCH WITH WORDS

THE ART OF COMMUNICATION.

Books are written on how to communicate effectively with those who are willing to listen, but it helps to go a bit deeper when we address effective communication with people who are not there to negotiate and shake hands.

We need ways to make peace with the fact that we may never be heard, always find the conversations lead to war games, and be overwhelmed by the air of superiority or incredible need; underlying the communication.

Even so, keep in mind that difficult people read us clearly.

They hear the caring or the disgust.

Smiles do not hide negative feelings.

They stiffen against criticism lurking behind begrudged agreement.

Kind words touch every heart.

Continue tomorrow-

This is the spot that Dan and I have been posting, on get ready for food and remedies that

heal; alchemy of herbs.

Today blogging on the herb; COFFEE and the benefits.

It’s amazing what and how coffee can help keep your body healthy?

Did you know that coffee may be linked to a lower risk of type 2 diabetes?

Well, it does!

Some research suggests that consuming coffee regularly could be associated with a decreased risk of developing type 2 diabetes over the long term.

In fact, one review of 30 studies found that each cup of coffee people consumed per day was linked to a 6% lower risk of developing type 2 diabetes.

This is thought to be due to coffee’s ability to preserve the function of the beta cells in your pancreas, which are responsible for producing insulin to regulate blood sugar levels.

Plus, it’s rich in antioxidants and may affect insulin sensitivity, inflammation, and metabolism, all of which are involved in the development of type 2 diabetes.

Regular coffee consumption may be linked to a lower risk of developing type 2 diabetes over the long term.

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.
