You can only do the best to your ability.

CONTINUING ON A BRAND-NEW SERIES, YOU CAN DO IT AND CONTINUING ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE HERB – CHAMOMILE.

Hello Followers,

The month of May is approaching and will be here this Sunday.

Dan and I are excited for May is significant for a lot of reasons.

It comes with the gifts of spring along with hints of summer.

Flowers, good weather and the assurance that after every storm comes the sunshine.

Looking for sunshine!

Today Dan and I continue to educate and share our experiences on life change, the fifth important step is; make it enjoyable.

Nobody wants a healthy lifestyle plan that is boring, painful, or in any way awkward or uncomfortable.

That doesn't create longevity on the road to wellness.

If you are confused on how to even combine "healthy" and "fun," don't fret.

A quick Internet search, like "healthy and fun activities"; will get the creative juices flowing.

Don't forget a good old-fashioned reward system!

I remember as a kid, I'd do pretty much anything to get gold star or a pat on the back.

How can you reward yourself?

For an example -even though I can buy a new pair of jeans any day, buying those jeans after completing a 30-day health challenge would bring endless supply of endorphins.

YOU CAN DO IT!

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

YOU CAN DANCE IN THE STORM. DON’T WAIT FOR THE RAIN TO BE OVER BEFORE BECAUSE IT MIGHT TAKE TOO LONG. YOU CAN DO IT NOW. WHEREVER YOU ARE, RIGHT NOW, YOU CAN START, RIGHT NOW; THIS VERY MOMENT.

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

WHEN YOU CAN’T APOLOGIZE-

AN APOLOGY BEGINS THE FIRST DAY OF THE REST OF YOUR LIFE.

Reconditioning that today is a first day, the first day of the rest of one’s life.

Give yourself a first day.

First days don’t require that you have it all figured out; they just require your conscious decision to overpower the internal voices that want to pull you down and lock you into the past.

Apologize, if you can.

If it’s not possible, learn the lessons.

Move on!

This is the first day of the rest of your life.

Dan and I have been posting, on the time to get ready for food and remedies that

heal; alchemy of herbs.

Today blogging on the herb; CHAMOMILE and the benefits.

It’s amazing what and how chamomile can help keep your body healthy?

Are you ready to continue with the herb chamomile!

How about another recipe?

CHAMOMILE EYEWASH

This is a simple saline wash.

Saline solutions help to soothe irritated eyes and mucous membranes and are a lot gentler than using water alone.

You’ll need an eyecup and cheesecloth or a coffee filter.

Eye-cups are made for treating for eye infections; like conjunctivitis or eye irritations.

This can be purchased at most pharmacies.

Keep items as sterile as possible.

Wash all instruments with hot soapy water and consider boiling them before use.

If you are addressing an eye infection, sterilize the eye-cup after treating one eye and before treating the other.

This is so you avoid spreading infection from the first to the second.

You can use this wash numerous times throughout the day.

However, this solution needs to be made daily to avoid contamination.

Ingredients:

1 cup distilled water - MAKE SURE IT IS DISTILLED WATER

½ teaspoon salt – MAKE SURE IT IS SEA SALT

2 tablespoons dried chamomile

Instructions:

1. Combine distilled water and sea salt in a saucepan.

2. Bring to a boil and gently stir until sea salt is dissolved.

3. Boil for 5 minutes and then turn off the heat.

4. Add the chamomile and let steep.

5. Cover for 10 minutes.

6. Strain through several layers of cheesecloth or a coffee filter, but do not squeeze the cheesecloth at the end.

7. It is important that there not be any little pieces of chamomile in your solution or it will irritate your eyes.

8. Let the solution cool in a glass measuring cup with a pouring spout.

9. When the solution is only slightly warm, pour it into a sterile eye-cup.

10. Fill the cup about halfway.

11. Tilt your head forward and position the cup snugly against your eye.

12. Hold the cup against your eye socket and tilt your head back.

13. Blink your eye several times to get the solution in direct contact with your eye.

14. Close your eye and continue to hold the cup in place for 1 to 2 minutes.

15. Repeat with the other eye, if needed.

Tomorrow, COFFEE –
