RECAPPING OUR NEW SERIES, WE ARE DESIGNED TO SURVIVE AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE BOOK TEN-MINUTE RELAXATION FOR MIND AND BODY.

Hello Followers,

A question popped into my head as we started this new series, how do you survive life?

We all run into pain, misfortunes, challenges, obstacles, stress, insults, unhappiness but dig into yourself and climb out of the dark hole any way you can.

Things do change.

The hard times do make you stronger and wiser and hopefully kinder too.

You'll heal and grow and very often, out of the pain, comes something so much better; more wonderful and surprising.

Life is not smooth sailing.

Right?

It's a combination of good and bad times, highs and lows, peace and trouble; but you get through it.

You always do.

Things work out.

We were made to survive!

JULY – 31th, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about July that’s so significant during this month?

National Avocado Day – July 31, 2022

A thought for National Avocado Day: “The avocado is a food without rival among the fruits, the veritable fruit of paradise.”

So said early 20th-century adventurer and U.S. Department of Agriculture botanist, David Fairchild, when he introduced the gorgeous fruits to the U.S. And he was right.

Avocados are creamy, delicious, vitamin-heavy symbols of nature offering us the good life at a bargain price.

All this, plus their versatile value for your body both inside and out make avocados well worth celebrating, as we do every July 31 on National Avocado Day.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

ENJOY TODAY. IT IS ONE OF THE GOOD OLD DAYS YOU WILL MISS IN THE FUTURE.

RECAPPING OUR NEW SERIES, WE ARE DESIGNED TO SURVIVE AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE BOOK TEN-MINUTE RELAXATION FOR MIND AND BODY.

The two most powerful warriors are patience and time.

Time brings all things to pass.

Time takes it all, whether you want it to or not.

You can’t make up for lost time. You can only do better in the future.

Time is what we want most, but what we use worst.

The earth has never stopped moving, growing, evolving for anyone and neither should you.

Compassion is the key to the ultimate survival of our species

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 18; SEE THE POSSIBILITIES-

FAITH HELPS MEET THE CHALLENGE-

Undergirded by a faith that helps you see the impossible as possible, you can be successful.

In separating yourself from the disheartening pull of a toxic relationship if not on the first try, then on the next or the next.

Faith turns failures and challenges in toxic relationships into stepping stones, growth points.

The trails take on meaning as they become opportunities to overcome the mountain and through the process.

Offering hope to others who are making the climb.

It’s not how long it takes to overcome the mountain of obstacles in your relationship that is important; it’s finally feeling in control of yourself.

Regardless of the dysfunction of the other person.

CLIMBING OVER MOUNTAINOUS RELATIONSHIP OBSTACLES STARTS ONE STEP AT A TIME.

Tomorrow, FAITH TAKES RISKS-

Today Dan and I will be continuing on the book; ten-minute relaxation, For mind and body by Jennie Harding.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are with you at all times; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy; meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.

CHAPTER 1; WHAT IS STRESS?

Dr. Hans Selye (1907-82), one of the pioneers of research into stress and its physiological consequences; said that stress is essentially reflected by the rate of all the wear and tear of life.

Notice how many of the 13 events in yesterdays post that represents times of major life change.

§ Death of spouse or partner

§ Divorce

§ Menopause

§ Separation from living partner

§ Prison sentence or probation

§ Death of a close family member

§ Serious illness or injury

§ Loss of job

§ Relationship difficulties

§ Retirement

§ Change in health of a close family member

§ Work more than 40 hours per week

§ Pregnancy

For example, retirement may throw the whole of a person’s life into uncertainty.

Especially if they only identify themselves with their job.

However, finding new directions or interests can transform this challenging situation into an exciting opportunity.

Tomorrow, GETTING IN TOUCH WITH STRESS -

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

YOU'RE GOING TO BE GLAD
