RECAPPING ON THE SERIES, DON’T LET YOUR ALARM CLOCK, BE THE ONLY REASON YOU WAKE UP AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, FINISHING THE HERBS – ASTRAGALUS AND STARTING THE BOOK TEN-MINUTE RELAXATION FOR MIND AND BODY.

Hello Followers,

HAPPY SUNDAY!

Sunday is probably the most relaxing day of the week for most of us.

We finish our work every Friday; well, at least the ones who don’t have to work on weekends.

And until Sunday ends, we have a little time to meet our family, friends, relax or do some chores around the house.

However, Sundays should be about you and things that make you happy.

Try to plan the rest of your week in a way that will allow you to be free every Sunday.

We all need a day at the end of the week to recharge our batteries by doing what we like or nothing at all.

A day when we can take a relaxing walk or simply stay in and enjoy our favorite movies or series.

You know, whatever doesn’t require too much thinking; effort or responsibility.

Something that will put your mind at ease.

So, make sure to use your Sundays to rest and declutter your mind.

You need it and you deserve it!

Escape from all the craziness that lives in your head.

The story that exists in your head is not even close to the actual day-to-day story that you live.

Eliminate all those negative thoughts and replace them with positive ones.

Positive thinking leads to positive results.

JULY– 24th, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about July that’s so significant during this month?

INTERNATIONAL SELF CARE DAY – July 24, 2022

On this day, individuals throughout the world are encouraged to make self-care a part of their everyday routines and turn it into a priority.

It is a milestone, and an opportunity to raise further awareness of the benefits of effective self-management of health.

Self-care has become incredibly important as people realize the need to take care of themselves and put themselves first.

This has made people talk about it and increased the interest of others to take control of their health and wellness by prioritizing themselves.

Today, we urge you to practice self-care, even if all you do is take a walk.

Self-care is a crucial cornerstone of health, and International Self-Care Day was established by the International Self-Care Foundation in 2011 to raise awareness about it.

The celebration of International Self-Care Day on July 24 emphasizes the advantages of self-care that can be felt at any time of day or night, seven days a week, regardless of the season.

The benefits of self-care, to put it another way, last a lifetime and are not limited to a single day.

The International Self-Care Day simply provides a wonderful focus and a chance to publicize or reflect on self-care programs in action.

Revolving around a yearly theme, International Self-Care Day serves as a focal point and an opportunity to increase awareness of healthy living self-care programs all over the world.

The concept of self-care has been around for a while, but it has recently received a lot of attention because of its emphasis on wellness.

This can include anything from following a healthy diet and exercising proper cleanliness to developing disease-prevention strategies in one’s daily routine.

Significant progress has been achieved in the availability and accessibility of novel self-care interventions, and the self-care movement continues to rise.

A wide range of health issues, from mental health to therapy for chronic diseases, can now be self-administered thanks to new approaches and technological breakthroughs.

LIFE is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

THE BEST AND MOST BEAUTIFUL THINGS IN THE WORLD CANNOT BE SEEN OR EVEN TOUCHED, THEY MUST BE FELT WITH THE HEART.

A clock only turns one direction.

Ah! the clock is always slow; it is later than you think.

The clock is running. Make the most of today.

Clocks were invented to warn us. Tick (time is passing). Tock (time has passed).

An alarm clock is a device that wakes you up just in time to go back to sleep.

Don't watch the clock; do what it does. Keep going.

No matter how fast a clock may run, it always winds up at the same place.

Continuing from last year the series on LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown.

Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy.

A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

CHAPTER 18; SEE THE POSSIBILITIES-

If faith is skewed and out of balance, people may become embroiled in unhealthy interactions that tear them apart.

Faith answers the WHY!

When we struggle with relationship problems, we have a lot of whys.

They rain on us constantly.

Why do I have to put up with this?

Why am I treated so poorly?

Why don’t I just leave?

We grapple to find the peace religious cliches espouse.

We long to have hope in seemingly hopeless relationships and believe the impossible is possible.

Elizabeth B. Brown, purposefully placed this chapter on faith at the end of her book; because she wanted to emphasize that each of us is responsible for choices that will bring healing to damaged relationships.

And what we believe affects those choices.

Too many people try religion and find their faith does not shield them from problems, so they decide that their religion is worthless and decry faith’s inability to change the troublesome person in their life or prevent the chaos.

Others, burdened by sorrow and challenges, cocoon themselves in religion, driving others away by their piety.

Yet if we reject faith because some people are out of balance and cause us continual heartache, we are neglecting the very element that is needed for peace within difficult relationships.

We are stabilized when in us the four elements that battle for mind control work in sync; emotions, attitude, physical nature and spiritual nature.

Continue tomorrow-

Today Dan and I will be continuing on the book; ten-minute relaxation, For mind and body by Jennie Harding.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are with you at all times; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy; meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.

USING YOUR SENSES

As life goes on you continue to interpret the events that take place through sensory information, which is the basis for all marketing.

The modern world we live in plays to the senses in more and more ways to entice us.

The average journey to work exposes the eyes to maybe a hundred advertising messages.

We are flooded with images, sounds, tastes, smells.

Yet ironically, one important way to manage all this overstimulation is to recover the active awareness of our own senses so that we interact with the world from our own choice and through our own powers of observations.

Thus, we no longer just passively receive sensory information.

But actively view it and choose what helps us best.

For example, instead of being upset and annoyed by noise; we can learn to create opportunities for quiet and rest our ears.

If we work in a place where we breathe only recycled air-conditioned air, we can ease our minds by inhaling the scents of nature.

By using our senses positively, we can totally change how we feel and learn to relax more effectively.

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.
