RECAPPING ON THE NEW SERIES, DON’T LET YOUR ALARM CLOCK, BE THE ONLY REASON YOU WAKE UP AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE HERBS – ASTRAGALUS.

Hello Followers,

Tomorrow starts a new week!

And yes, Dan and I are going to continue on living life to the fullest.

It’s an important component in keeping healthy.

As we end this week, we will focus on values.

In order to live life to your fullest, don’t compromise your values.

If something doesn’t feel right, don’t do it.

Don’t compromise on your internal code of ethics, as this will leave you feeling empty and full of regret.

Life doesn’t work like a movie.

It’s filled with gray areas

Trust your instincts, and do whatever you want so long as you can look yourself in the mirror with appreciation and love.

JULY – 10th, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about July that’s so significant during this month?

Pick Blueberries Day – July 10, 2022

Pick Blueberries Day is celebrated on July 10 every year and it’s the perfect time for this activity as the day falls in the summer.

Blueberries are extremely popular berries in the United States and they are known to be rich in antioxidants.

Raw blueberries also have the most flavor and great benefits.

These factors are reason enough to get out of the house and go blueberry picking!

This day is part of National Blueberry Month, which was founded by the National American Blueberry Council and has officially been recognized by the United States Department of Agriculture since 2003.

There are two distinct types of blueberries, lowbush blueberries or wild blueberries and highbush blueberries.

The former can be identified as small and pea-sized berries that grow on low-level bushes.

The latter are larger berries that grow on taller cultivated bushes. People can easily pick blueberries from semi-wild or wild bushes.

Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.

Today is:

JOY IS THE HIGHEST EXPRESSION OF LOVE.

Remember, healthy help says several things clearly:

§ I’m here if you need me.

§ I’m here, even if you choose unwisely.

§ ‘I’m here, but there are limits and boundaries.

§ I’m here to encourage you.

§ I’m here to be an objective sounding board.

§ I’m here but I know your choices, and their consequences; belong to you.

§ I’m here but I’m willing to lose the relationship if keeping it means we become twisted together.

Tomorrow, SEEING RELATIONSHIP AS GIFTS-

Continuing on the herb; ASTRAGALUS and the benefits, It’s the last herb from the book ALCHEMY OF HERBS by Rosalee De La Foret.

Astragalus has such a mildly sweet flavor.

Did you know that astragalus alleviates symptoms of chemotherapy?

Astragalus has been shown to help patients receiving chemotherapy to recover more quickly and extend their life spans.

In cases of severe chemotherapy symptoms like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and bone marrow suppression, astragalus has been given intravenously and in combination with other Chinese herbal mixtures.

Early research suggests its ability to reduce these symptoms and increase the efficacy of the chemotherapy treatments.

The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

Until Monday, we live in a world where light is inescapable.

It comes from street lamps, headlights, security floodlights, and even the faint glow of our alarm clocks. We take it for granted that we can see at all times of day and night.
