Hello Followers,
Monday is approaching us quickly!
Stop today and smell the roses.
As you do think about this, as most of us gets treated with medical drugs, it may sometimes provide relief from disease symptoms.
However, in the long run they cannot do anything but harm to you.
Because, as unnatural substances in the body, they place further strain on already overworked organs which correctly sense a drug to be a poison to be neutralized and expelled.
Thus, drugs only cause further deterioration of the environment within, which causes additional distress.
The symptoms of which are referred to as side effects.
When this happens, additional medicine Is prescribed to counter the side effects, the
vicious circle is complete.
Thus, it is easy to understand why iatrogenic disease, now recognized as a major cause of death, which of course it always has been.
Disease caused by medical treatment.
Many intelligent doctors, after realizing the absurdity of allopathic medical methods, have
abandoned their old beliefs in medicines and drugs and become medical heretics.
Of course, brings them disfavor in orthodox medical circles and no chance to present their newfound beliefs in professional journals.
Therefore, many such experienced doctors write books to present their information direct to the populace.
Two such doctors are Hans Selye, author of The Stress of Life, and Reino Virtonen, author of Claude Bernard and Experimental Medicine.
Dan and I mention these two books because they both quote Louis Pasteur, father of the Germ Theory of Disease.
Just before his death in 1895, he said to his friend Professor Renon; Bernard was right, the germ is nothing, the milieu is everything.
We were born to survive!
AUGUST – 14th, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about August that’s so significant during this month?
Melon Day – August 14, 2022
Melon Day takes place on the second Sunday in August.
This year, it takes place on August 14.
On this special day, we celebrate cantaloupes, galias, and all the other muskmelons, specifically those belonging to the people of Turkmenistan.
If you’re like Dan and I, you may have confused watermelons for melons at least once in your life.
However, these two fruits are very different even though they stem from the same family.
Melons, particularly muskmelons; have an important agricultural heritage and are the pride of the people of Turkmenistan, a country located in Central Asia.
Today, they honor not only their well-groomed muskmelons but a fine crossbreed, named after their first president, the Turkmenbashi melon.
They are hard, musky, and netted on the outside, but soft, succulent, and orange or white on the inside.
Today, all the hype is about muskmelons; these juicy fruits that are not to be confused with any other kind of melon.
We often find ourselves placing all melons in the same category, but this is an oversight on our part.
Muskmelons are quite different from all other melons, and this can be attributed to their physical features and taste.
They typically have smooth, ribbed, wrinkled, or netted exteriors with sweet flesh that is yellow or white.
Some examples of muskmelons are cantaloupes, honeydews, and galias.
Although we are celebrating all kinds of muskmelons today, Melon Day originated in Turkmenistan and holds cultural significance for its people.
For those who may not know, Turkmenistan is the least populated country found in Central Asia.
They are known for their beautiful culture, heritage, and also their delicious melons.
Turkmenistan is responsible for approximately 400 of the melon varieties we have today.
They grow and cultivate muskmelons in great numbers, and this has been an integral part of their history and culture for decades.
Melons hold such importance that one of the crossbreed products is named after their first president, Saparmurat Niyazov, who is also the creator of this holiday.
He preferred to be known as Turkmenbashi, which means leader of the people.
The Turkmenbashi melon is revered for its aroma, taste, and hefty size.
Time is precious and is priceless, so Dan and I will continue each day to pull from a box of 365 inspirational quotes; one quote and share with you.
Today is:
YOUR TIME IS WAY TOO VALUABLE TO BE WASTING ON PEOPLE THAT CAN’T ACCEPT WHO YOU ARE.
RECAPPING ON SERIES, WE ARE DESIGNED TO SURVIVE AND ON LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE. PLUS, THE BOOK TEN-MINUTE RELAXATION FOR MIND AND BODY.

Survival can be summed up in three words, never give up. That’s the heart of it really. Just keep trying.
Humor is one of the best ingredients of survival.
Tough times don't last, tough people do, remember?
Part of surviving is being able to move on.
Knowledge is power, community is strength and positive attitude is everything.
You'll beat this. I know it doesn't feel like it, but you will. You're a survivor.

CHAPTER 19; DANCING WITH PORCUPINES (last chapter of the book)
LEARN TO DANCE-
It’s natural for younger people to feel the pain of a life that’s not fair and try to place blame as they thrash out their identity.
There comes a time, however; when continuing to blame the problem of your life on others is nonproductive, unhealthy and a bar to unhappiness.
That’s when it is time to come to a more understanding way.
YOUR LIFE IS YOUR CHOICE!
Continuing tomorrow-
Today Dan and I will be continuing on the book; ten-minute relaxation, For mind and body by Jennie Harding.
Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are with you at all times; your senses.
This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.
Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!
Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy; meditation.
By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.
CHAPTER 1; WHAT IS STRESS?
DIFFERENT TYPES OF STRESS-
Dan and I find it is important to look at each of our senses and the effects they can have on stress.
So, the next several posts; we will blog on them.
SMELL-
The sense of smell is also very powerfully linked to memories and feelings.
This often-causing remarkable responses.
Natural aromas like lavender have a relaxing effect on many people.
Vaporizers with lavender essential oil have been used to help people in hospital wards who have sleeping problems.
This reducing the need for sleeping tablets.
Tomorrow, SIGHT-
The PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.
We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.
If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.
