Hello Followers,
Welcome Sunday!

Sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore.
Dream.
Discover.
It makes you feel small, but not in a bad way.
Small because you realize you are part of something bigger.
It is time to dive into the incredible health benefits of ginger and explore easy ways to incorporate it into your lifestyle today.
Ginger is also associated with the element of fire, which can represent passion, strength, and determination.
So, again do not underestimate the power of spices and herbs in promoting health.
Ginger may include its ability to help relieve nausea and pain, improve respiratory conditions.
Ginger also helps boost bone health, strengthen the immune system, and increase appetite.
This root is also good for modifying obesity and relieving the pain related to menstrual disorders.
Most of the benefits derived from ginger are because of the presence of an active constituent called gingerol.
According to the USDA, it is also rich in carbohydrates, dietary fiber, and protein.
In terms of minerals, they have sodium, iron, potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, and zinc.
Its vitamins include vitamin C, folate, vitamin B6, riboflavin, and niacin.
There are many anti-inflammatory and antioxidant compounds like pantothenic acid, beta-carotene, capsaicin, curcumin, caffeic acid, and salicylate in it.
Also, the presence of active compounds like shogaol, zerumbone, terpenoids, flavonoids, paradol, and zingerone in ginger provides many health benefits.

KNOWLEDGE IS A TREASURE, BUT PRACTICE IS THE KEY TO IT
DID YOU KNOW!
If joy had a scoreboard, babies would be winning by a landslide.
Studies show that infants smile an average of two hundred times a day, flooding their surroundings with pure, unfiltered happiness.
But as we grow older, something changes, and the smiles start to fade.
The average woman smiles around sixty-two times a day, while the average person smiles just eight times.
That is a massive drop from the radiant joy we are born with.
Why the difference?
#Experts say it is a mix of social expectations, emotional openness, and even brain chemistry.
Babies, unburdened by stress, pride, or judgment, smile to connect, explore, and express wonder.
Their smiles are contagious, and incredibly powerful.
In fact, seeing a baby smile can light up the reward centers in an adult’s brain.
As we age, smiles become tied to circumstance, politeness, humor, awkwardness, or photo ops.
But science is clear, smiling, whether forced or genuine, boosts mood, reduces stress, and even strengthens the immune system.
So maybe we do not need more reasons to smile.
Maybe we just need to remember how often we used to.
Here is your gentle reminder: smile like a baby today, two hundred times if you can.
Your brain and everyone around you will thank you.
Dan and I welcome you to join us with the next book for our book club.
LIFE LESSONS FROM THE OCEAN, soothing wisdom from the sea – By Richard Harrtington
TAKE YOUR ROLE IN LIFE SERIOUSLY
Sponges have been harvested by people for thousands of years, until synthetic versions replaced them.
There is an astounding number of different forms of sponge, all made up of the building blocks of very small, very simple animals.
In many sponges the tiny animals in different parts of a colony perform specific tasks.
Some bring in food-containing water, others filter it, and still more, pass waste products out again.
Each individual animal will do no other role for the colony yet will work harmoniously with others.
