We all know that beginnings are hard.

Change is hard because our brain is wired to do the same thing over and over, regardless if that activity is good or bad.


We also know how challenging it can be to go through change, but the positive consequence is really awesome.


Dan and I believe change can be good.


Even when it seems tough, you are learning and growing as a person.

Change happens slowly, but it happens.


I remember eleven years ago, when Dan and I decided to regroup our lives and move to Mexico.


That was truly a CHANGE!


The move was to be for only two years; however, it turned out to be six years.


And what we learned within those years; we will treasure.

Life in the comfort zone is easy.


You simply follow a routine and you can predict the consequences.


Outside of the comfort zone, your assumptions are challenged.

Your opinions, mindset, and belief systems are tested.


You must find new ways to articulate who you are and what you believe.


The idea of doing the same thing over and over without question is discouraged.


Getting out into the world and doing something new and different is a fostered approach to life.

MIND GAMES; TACTICS


To compound the agony, often those around point their finger in derision at the victim.


You brought on the storm.


You know they not reasonable.


Why did you stir the pot by talking to them like they were?


They didn’t mean half of what they say.


They would never do anything to hurt you.

The victim feels helpless.


Those around compound the abuse because they too are needy.


Hopelessness and resignation reign.


I’m going to forget it.


What can I do?


What choice do I have?


I’m stuck!
