Hello Followers,
Welcome to Sunday!

It is a month of gratitude!
Reflect upon your present blessings of which every person has many, not on your past misfortunes, of which all of us have.
Starting a daily practice of gratitude can help you recognize the positive in your life instead of focusing on the negative.
And being thankful and grateful for all the good things you have can make you happier.
When you are grateful, fear disappears, and abundance appears.
It is time to dive into the incredible health benefits of sage and explore easy ways to incorporate it into your lifestyle today.
Sage scent is tied to emotional healing and letting go of past pain.
So, again do not underestimate the power of spices and herbs in promoting health.
Sage is a potent anti-inflammatory herb thanks to its carnosic acid, rosmarinic acid, and flavonoids, which help neutralize free radicals and protect tissues from oxidative stress.
A 2023 review in Nutrients highlighted that regular consumption of polyphenol-rich herbs such as sage, rosemary, and thyme significantly reduced markers of inflammation like C-reactive protein (CRP) and interleukins.
This antioxidant protection supports long-term health by reducing the risk of chronic diseases including arthritis, diabetes, and cardiovascular disorders.

KNOWLEDGE IS A TREASURE, BUT PRACTICE IS THE KEY TO IT
DID YOU KNOW!
The blanket that heals your mind while you sleep.
There is something extraordinary happening beneath the soft folds of a weighted blanket.
Scientists have found that these comforting blankets do not just help you fall asleep; they transform your body’s chemistry while you rest.
When gentle, evenly distributed pressure covers the body, known as deep pressure stimulation, the nervous system responds as if it is being hugged.
This physical sensation triggers the release of oxytocin and melatonin, two hormones responsible for bonding, relaxation, and deep, restorative sleep.
At the same time, levels of cortisol, the stress hormone, drop dramatically.
The result is calmer nerves, slower breathing, and a peaceful mind that drifts naturally into sleep.
Unlike sleeping pills, which chemically force the body to shut down, weighted blankets work with your natural biology.
They send a reassuring message of safety to your brain, the same way a baby feels comforted when swaddled, or how a loved one’s embrace instantly slows your heartbeat.
That is why these blankets are now being used not just for insomnia but also for people with anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, and sensory disorders, providing relief without medication or side effects.
This discovery shapes how we think about sleep and mental health.
It shows that healing can be simple, sometimes it is just the power of touch, warmth, and calmness.
Tonight, as you pull your blanket a little closer, remember: your body is wired for peace.
You just must let it happen.

RECAPPING THE WEEK

Dan and I welcome you to join us with the next book for our book club.
LIFE LESSONS FROM THE OCEAN, soothing wisdom from the sea – By Richard Harrtington
AVOID CLUTTER
Finding and watching wildlife needs an inquisitive mind and patience, but very little equipment.
You do not even need to get your feet wet!
With waterproof binoculars you can see whales and dolphins.
A shallow tray, to temporarily house small animals before returning them to the water, is helpful for shore study.
More equipment, along with in-depth training, is essential for scuba diving but a mask and snorkel are all you need for a surprisingly similar and rewarding experience.
When observing wildlife, generally speaking, it is best to look and not to touch, avoid trying to move animals and seaweeds stuck to rocks, and leave things exactly as you find them.
Feeling overwhelmed after a long, stressful day?
This 10-minute guided meditation is designed to help you unwind, release tension, and mentally reset.
Whether you are coming home from work, wrapping up a busy day of tasks, or simply needing a moment of peace, this calming practice will help you transition into a state of rest and renewal.
Until Monday, sage is thought to dispel negative energies.
