Life is all about evolution.

What looks like a mistake to others has been a milestone in our lives.


Even if people have betrayed you, even if our heart was broken, even if people misunderstood or judged you, learned from these incidents.


We are human and we make mistakes, but learning from them is what makes the difference.

What are milestones in life?


A milestone in life is a significant turning point or moment that occurs.


This particular moment may help you grow, change, or move from one stage in your life to the next.

It’s the fifth day of June, Dan and I thought on continuing this segment with the series with some fun; What is it about June that’s so significant during this month?


Hot Air Balloon Day – June 5, 2022

Hot Air Balloon Day is celebrated on June 5th.


Did you know that the hot air balloon is the oldest form of aviation?


Although not as advanced as they are today, they’ve been around since the 18th century, which was a time when appreciating the beautiful landscapes from above with a helicopter wasn’t an option.

Flying in a hot air balloon is one of the most adventurous ways of appreciating the science behind them and seeing the world from a different point of view.


Although the celebration of Hot Air Balloon Day dates back about a decade, the history of hot air balloons traces back to ancient Chinese culture and military tactics, where airborne lanterns were released in the air as a cultural practice and military signal respectively.

Dan and I had the pleasure several years ago, for our Anniversary to take a ride up, up in a hot air balloon.


I must say it was breathtaking!


Plus, it was a milestone in our lives.

World Environment Day – June 5, 2022


World Environment Day urges all of us to protect our natural surroundings.


The stunning facts?


An estimated 7 million people die each year from causes related to air pollution, with a majority occurring in the Asia-Pacific region.

This day, which falls on June 5, encourages worldwide activism.


That means everything from littering to climate change.


World Environment Day is both a global celebration and a platform for public outreach.

Chapter 16; IS DIFFERENT SCREWED UP?


READITY CHECK ONE- BASIC ASSUMPTIONS DIFFER


When encountering someone’s perplexing behavior, it may be helpful to consider the possibility that they were taught different basic assumptions about appropriate behavior.


What may seem obvious to you may not be so obvious to someone else.


People can be clueless as to what you are expecting if they did not learn the same basics you did.

For example, some families take it for granted that they will telephone each other every day.


Others call when something important happens.


Count on hurt feelings if someone from family one, marries into family two and assumes the behavior, they who grew up with is right and the other way wrong.


This type of little issue becomes the crisis that creates problems in many relationships.


When these little things are compounded in an individual, they are considered different.

It’s important to discuss the issues and the basic assumptions, rather than see about differences.


Helping someone understand what might help the interaction is better than assuming what they do are an intentional insult.

Speaking of cholesterol, let’s dig a bit deeper into that.

The definition of cholesterol is fat that may adhere to the walls of your blood vessels and in the process obstruct the free flow of blood cells through these channels, whether partially or totally.

It's important to distinguish between good and bad cholesterol since the former actually helps carry the bad cholesterol to your liver where it is then destroyed in the mighty flames of your largest internal organ.


Women at the age of 50 or older at the highest risk for high cholesterol and thus can greatly benefit from incorporating dandelion tea into their diet since.


The antioxidants can clear out bad cholesterol.
