Kind words do not cost much. Yet they accomplish much.

RECAPPING ON THE SERIES; THOUGHTS AND WORDS AND LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE FOR THE WEEK OF AUG 15th to AUG 21st. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Hello Followers,

Happy Sunday! The week is over and its time to recap on the week of August 15th to today.

Knowledge is power, this saying I take personal.

This phrase has existed in various versions across cultures and across times. Earlier versions of the phrase date back to the 10th century.

Thomas Jefferson used the phrase in his correspondence on at least four occasions, each time in connection with the establishment of a state university in Virginia.

Is it a coincidence, or what; that I live nearby!

While knowledge and wisdom are not quite the same thing (like knowing what to say vs when you should say it), for these purposes they can both be thought of as valuable things that accumulate as one lives.

Yesterday, Dan and I took a trip to our local library and received a library card. To us this is very valuable for our wisdom of healing cancer with Functional Medicine, however; now we can go a little further and continue through books from the library on how to take care and keeping up to date on new methods.

As a new week starts, I will continue with the series of words and thoughts, and relationships and how it effects our health.

Success in your career, your relationship, a friendship or any stream in life is significantly dependent upon the usage of words.

Furthermore, words are a reflection of the thoughts developed in our mind.

Words supported by thought shape our destiny.

As well said; be careful of your thoughts, for your thoughts become your words, be careful of your words, for your words become your actions, be careful of your actions, for your actions become your habits, be careful of your habits, for your habits become your character, be careful of your character, for your character becomes your destiny.

The takeaway; your thoughts become your destiny.

Words are empowered to heal, as words control thoughts, use them to create a deep impact.

While words can facilitate healing, they also hamper them.

Use them intelligently.

How many are you out there are left-handers?

I raise my left hand! When I was growing up, I learned everything right-handed; which made everything I did the wrong way.

It’s time to share some words from THE LEFT-HANDER’S HANDBOOK.

WHY ARE THINGS SO TOUGH ON LEFT-HANDERS?

H.C. Wells, who certainly ought to have known better; believed left-handedness was insignificant and always had been.

He wrote; “We know were right-handed, like modern men, because the left side of the brain was bigger than the right.”

Of course, this is nonsense.

Virtually all of the evidence shows that in prehistoric times, the number of left-handers equal just about the number of right-handers.

QUOTES ABOUT LIVING

THOUGHTS AND WORDS

Every thought, every spoken word, every action sets a process in motion.

We control what we send out but not the results or consequences that follow.

Good intentions set forth with the goal to destroy a perceived wrong will cause destruction in their wake.

Good intentions set forth in love will yield good results eventually.

Be conscious of method even when certain of intentions.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

WITH PICTURES

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

WITH PICTURES

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

30 PICTURES - ENJOY THE SLIDE SHOW

"Chinese proverb. One picture is worth ten thousand words."

So, we will be posting a gallery of pictures on each post, hopefully you will see each one has a story.

RECAPPING ON THE SERIES; LOVE, THOUGHTS AND WORDS AND LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE FOR THE WEEK OF AUG 15th to AUG 21st. ALONG WITH HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

To find yourself, think for yourself.

Colors fade, temples crumble, empires fall, but wise words endure.

Don’t mix your words with your mood, you can change your mood but you can’t take back your words.

Our words have creative power. With our words, we can speak blessings over our future.

Let your words elevate your life to the heights of greatness.

Words have the power to both destroy and heal. When words are both true and kind, they can change our world.

The mouth speaks what the heart is full of.

This is where we continue on the book: LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, by Elizabeth B. Brown. Dan and I continue to share ways to benefit and help keep one’s health cells healthy. A wise man told me ten years ago, when one is in balance with themselves; one stays healthy.

Today I will continue on – CHAPTER FIVE; PULL OUT THE SPLINTERS.

Splinter searchers begin with a period of deep-inner turmoil and end with the decision.

The status quo is no longer acceptable.

Reality sets in.

You realize that you aren’t going to get everything you want from a relationship.

If you have needs that aren’t met, you will either have to find a way to pick up the slack or let that part of your expectations and dreams go by the wayside.

What is no longer acceptable is browbeating your screwed-up person to get them to meet your needs or choose the same goals as you when they are not willing to do so.

Tomorrow, PULL OUT THE SPLINTERS!

This is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs. In the coming week, Dan and I will be blogging the benefits of SAGE. It’s amazing what and how sage can help keep your body healthy?

Sage may reduce blood sugar levels.

The leaves of common sage have been used traditionally as a remedy against diabetes.

Human and animal research indicates that it may help lower blood sugar levels.

In one study, sage extract reduced blood glucose levels in rats with type 1 diabetes by activating a specific receptor. When this receptor is activated, it can help clear excess free fatty acids in the blood, which in turn improves insulin sensitivity.

Another study in mice with type 2 diabetes found that sage tea acts like metformin, a drug prescribed to manage blood sugar in people with the same disease.

In humans, sage leaf extract has been shown to lower blood sugar and improve insulin sensitivity with a similar effect as rosiglitazone, another anti-diabetes drug.

However, there is still not enough evidence to recommend sage as a diabetes treatment.

More human research is needed.

While sage may lower blood sugar levels by increasing insulin sensitivity, more human research is needed.

MORE BENEFITS TO COME.

NOTE AND REPEAT – PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth

THIS IS AN ENCLOSURE – will be at the end of all the blogs, for I stress; this daily routine will heal and keep your body cells happy.

As I end this blog, Dan and I for several years have shared our experiences with enjoying life while managing cancer. By keeping healthy, our routine daily has been walking (exercise), meditation (for stress), Qigong (exercise and for stress).

I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!

Saturday’s walk was in back of our local library. There was a wooden pathway. And yes, we both got a library card. 📚

Dan and I have put together videos from WALK AT HOME together on our website, that you can follow in home; when you have short periods of time and unable to go out. They are from 15 mins up to 30 mins depending on the miles. This is one of the first steps to making your cells happy!!

Also, meditation videos, help to lower stress and is also one of the first steps to making your cells happy; click on https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/meditation

Again, they are no more than 10 to 20 mins and they are guided meditations.

Feeling the Gift of Life Guided Meditation

What a wonderful way to spend 10 minutes, this guided meditation will guide you into a state of being able to really feel the gift of life.

Take some time to get comfortable and just begin to breath.

Enjoy!

“Surrender is a gift that you can give yourself. It’s an act of faith. It’s saying that even though I can’t see where this river is flowing, I trust it will take me in the right direction.” ~ Debbie Ford

We are still working on Qigong video’s to be posted on the website for easy access, until now you can go to the blog https://www.thejourneytogoodhealth.com/blog and on the right-hand side are hash # tag words, just click on the word #walk #Qigong #meditation. The post will pop up and then you can begin. Have fun with it!

ACCOMPLISH MUCH

Kind words do not cost much. Yet they accomplish much.

Until Monday, the meaning behind the words, the feeling is more significant than the words themselves; so, listen.
