And tomorrow is Labor Day, enjoy and be safe.


The arrival of Labor Day is bittersweet.


It's a three-day weekend.'


It’s time to bid farewell to summer and your trusty pair of white pants, until next year.


In the spirit of the holiday, take a moment to let the people in your life know how thankful you are for them and all their hard work.

As we continue to blog about desires within, to us this is the same as goals, dreams and achieving.


However, it also depends on what your perception is in life!


Within our perception of the reality, we live in, there are three components to look at; our external reality, our internal reality, and the unknown.

Today we will be blogging on the unknown.


Our lives are based on what we know and believe, and yet the things we don’t know (and never can know) far outnumber those we do.


Accepting that there are things we can never understand can feel frustrating, yet it can ultimately lead us to a sense of peace and openness to others and their ideas.

America marks National Wildlife Day on September 4.


It’s an opportunity for everyone to step back, take a deep breath and think about all that surrounds us.


It inspiring to consider preservation and conservation efforts that work to improve the natural world.

There remains so much to learn.


As Henry David Thoreau once wrote, “In wildness is the preservation of the world.”


Dan and I couldn’t agree more.

Today Dan and I will be continuing on the book; ten-minute relaxation, For mind and body by Jennie Harding.

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy; meditation.


By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.

CHAPTER 2; THE SENSORY JOURNEY


LOOKING AFTER YOUR EYES-


It’s important to take care of your eyes, as well as regular eye checks.


There are also some very simple things you can do.

Some in less than ten minutes, which give your eyes the chance to rest and recuperate.


One or two of these ideas can be done anywhere.


Even at your desk at work.


It is a good idea to follow these tips in coming posts to keep your eyes comfortable through your working day.


Obviously, it is best if you can do these eye-cate activities for a full ten minutes at a time.

But even just a few minutes will help.


When starting the exercises, remove your glasses or contact lenses before beginning.

As I ponder over all that I have learned, I have come to the findings that we all have our own blueprint.


Our bodies are precious and there are many components in taking care of them.


Throughout the blog, Dan and I have related the different ways through body, heart and soul.


It’s all about power of knowledge and learning to take care of yourself, keeping your cells happy.

Our immune system is one of the key factors in keeping healthy.


It’s important to know how it works!


The capability of the immune system (immunocompetence) depends on the general state of health and physical fitness.


But regardless of this may be drastically, but only temporarily reduced in a healthy body by fatigue or excessive stress.

The condition of the bloodstream is very important.


When toxemia exists, and fat in the blood tends to stick blood cells and platelets into sludge, increasing blood viscosity and decreasing oxygen levels.


The immune system along with the rest of the entire body becomes severely diminished in function.


Thus, various chronic disease conditions, such as cancer; are invariably marked by diminished vitality, low body temperature, low enzyme levels and low immunocompetence.

Chronically ill people and senile people, therefore, more readily succumb to acute infection.


So, you see why your immune system is a big part to keeping healthy!
