Real transformation requires real honesty. If you want to move forward, get real with yourself.

RECAPPING THIS WEEK ON THE SERIES OF LIVING SUCCESSFULLY WITH SCREWED-UP PEOPLE, THE HERB - LEMON BALM AND 101 WAYS TO HAPPINESS.

Hello Followers,

With the coming of year 2022, Dan and I hope to break the cycle of New Year’s resolution failures and establish a new idea for personal change.

We hope to go beyond the everyday experiences of making promises that get broken, and instead look beyond ourselves to something transformative and well-meaning.

In 2022, Dan and I plan to commit to our followers and offer inspirational and motivational posts that better our health, even if we fail to maintain perfection.

Our goal is to offer you an unbreakable pledge to create a better lifestyle.

Last couple of years on the blog, we focused on functional medicine treatments and how our immune system gets destroyed by unhealthy eating and the environment.

How pollution effects our everyday lives.

Toward the end of 2021, Dan and I took another approach to share living a healthier lifestyle.

You are always welcome to check any subject by going to the blog page and on the right side are hash# words, just click on any one that you may be interested in and like magic the posts that are related to that word pops up.

Enjoy!

Dan and I accept this new concept, not as a set of rules to live by, but as a new way of being in the world.

Unlike resolutions of the past, our new transformation leaves room for errors.

We will apologize as needed, but never give up just because we broke a rule or two (or three).

Instead, we will admit our imperfection, apologize when needed, and continue along our way.

As part of maintaining this transformation, we will offer grace when we make a mistake and become frustrated.

This new way of looking at the world helps us deal with the pressures of maintaining good health.

A simple resolution would deem us a failure after the first mistake, but a commitment to a new way of living keeps in consideration those moments when we lose our way.

Transformation allows us to be human, a flawed creature.

At the same time, writing down promises for the new year often manifests as empty dreams and unrealized expectations.

For change to occur, grace must make itself known.

Perfection, while appearing a lofty goal, is unrealistic.

A new way of living allows us to continue, even when we falter.

This year, we hope a transformative way of looking at the world helps us to see our best self.

Gone are my days of making meaningless, often broken, New Year’s resolutions.

But our commitment may remain evident from Jan. 1 to Dec. 31.

We hope that 2022 brings a more prosperous way of living in the world for all of us.

It is our heartfelt wish that all of us may discover a very transformative new year.

What are your new transformations?

One of Dan’s and my transformation is;

Years seem like they’re very long. But simultaneously,

minutes feel like they’re very short.

How many minutes you can fit into a whole year?

1 common year = 365 days = (365 days) × (24 hours/day) ×

(3600 seconds/hour) = 31536000 seconds

A year has 525,600 minutes. This is equal to 43,800 minutes

per month or 1,440 minutes per day. An average person will

live for around 40,891,680 minutes.

1 Common Year: 24 hours per day x 365 days = 8,760 hours

Time is free, but it’s priceless.

You can’t own it, but you can use it.

You can’t keep it, but you can spend it.

Once you’ve lost it you can never get it back.

Time is taken for granted, but after it is gone; all we have left

are the memories.

So, I put together 365 inspirational sayings; this way we can

stop for a second and pause.

Take the time each day to read one saying to inspire your day.

Shake well and pull one out; enjoy.

This was inspired by giving as Christmas gifts to our loved ones.

Each day Dan and I will also shake and pull out of our box and share with you all.

Today is: THE HERE AND NOW IS ALL WE HAVE, AND IF WE PLAY IT RIGHT IT'S ALL WE'LL NEED.

101 WAYS TO HAPPINESS; by Mike Annesley.

Continuing from last year!

Since all the research of keeping healthy, leads to making your cells happy; this book will help your mental health to be happy.

That is the first step in keeping your cells happy and keeping your body healthy.

CHAPTER 2; HAPPILY, PEACEFUL

WALK WITH A DIFFERENCE

Here are two ways to put an enjoyable spin on walking for relaxation:

CHOOSE A FOCUS

As a focus for mindfulness on your walk, pick something you’ve likely encounter such as birds, trees, churches, boats and pay particular attention to your sighting; in a spirit of appreciation.

If you combine this with ID, using a field guide or tourist guidebook, so much the better.

GO MAPLESS

If you have plenty of time, getting deliberately lost can be a liberating adventure.

Ask passers-by before you consult the map.

But always have one, if only on your smartphone on standby.

Avoid unsafe areas and getting lost in a remote country without a phone signal.

CHAPTER 11; MAKE ANGER YOUR ALLY

TO TURN ANGER INTO AN ALLY, PARTNER WITH IT.

Continue on TAKE CONTROL

If you are angry because of an ongoing problem, stop dead in your tracks.

This is your signal.

If all your reasoning, tactics, maneuvering, begging, or yelling; have not changed the difficult person’s actions, quit fighting the wind.

If that person hasn’t responded, it’s because they don’t what to change; regardless of what is promised.

No matter how unfair you are forced to either live with or leave.

Your power is found in what you do.

Exploding, being a victim, raging, or manipulating through anger is not a good choice.

Continue tomorrow-

Last year, Dan and I have been posting, this is the time to get ready for food and remedies that heal; alchemy of herbs.

We will be continuing this year and to start the New Year off, how about some recipes with LEMON BALM?

It’s amazing what and how lemon balm can help keep your body healthy?

Until Monday, you have to love yourself enough to set a standard for your life that you’re unwilling to compromise.

If you accept the standards of others for your life, you’ll never be happy.
