Do you know?

This is when you’ve finally become self-aware, but you don’t feel good about yourself.


Nothing excites you about you.


You think you’re just an average person, coursing through life with nothing special to offer.


You start to feel like you need validation from determining your self-worth.

You want to achieve a task or even take a quiz to measure your self-worth.


What you should know is that self-worth first comes from within.


It is the level of importance you place on yourself; by yourself!


By merely existing, you are sufficient.

For all of us who are alive, life is the real issue.


Yet so often we judge our existence by the things that happen to us, by whether things are going our way or not.


Sometimes we feel strong—strong enough to dictate our future.


Sometimes we feel that we can make things happen.


Then there are times when we feel totally helpless.


But through all the dramas and bumps, there is life.


There is the very powerful, very existence of every single human being

An enormous benefit of having self-worth is that a person can accept a compliment gratefully,

knowing inside that it’s true.


Sincere compliments feel good, just as they are intended to feel.

CONTINUING THE SERIES ON HOW SAFE IS MEXICO?

Dan and I grabbed an opportunity nine years ago, when we took on the adventure and moved to Mexico. Back then, we didn’t know what to expect, except that both of us were alive and ready for a change. We had been going to Tijuana for cancer treatments and knew somewhat what we were heading into. We ended up living in the center of the country however; better for travel purposes and it was nothing like what we had thought about. To this date, we are back in the states living in Virginia and what we took from Mexico was friendships, culture and understanding of their ways of life.

Through thousands of pictures that I took, Dan and I are showing how safe Mexico is. There is a saying ‘A picture is worth a thousand words’; this is so true! A picture tells a story just as well as, if not better than, a lot of written words.

CHAPTER 8; HANDLING FRAZZLED EMOTIONS.

HARNESS THE POWER


When you stew in your emotions, you’re like an egg in hot water.


You may look the same on the outside but the longer you simmer, the harder you become on the inside.


Grudges, depression, anguish, obsession and bitterness are harbored under your shelf and show in your eyes and attitude.

Here’s what happens to your emotions as you deal within difficult relationships if you do not free yourself from their stranglehold.


ü Love become a sick obsession.


ü Anger turns into rage.


ü The need for affirmation becomes a drive.


ü Caring is given only to receive something in return.


ü Sadness becomes anguish.


ü Grief becomes wretchedness.


ü Happiness becomes a driven addiction to find fulfillment.


Tomorrow, finding ways to handle the negative feelings requires conscious thought on your part.

I know some will say they do not have enough time with work, kids and household chores!!!
