Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.

Hello followers,

It is a day to regroup and start to prepare for this coming week.

HAPPY SUNDAY!

Let us begin this morning feeling full of gratitude.

When you practice gratitude on a regular basis you can start to expect to experience more positive emotions, express more kindness and compassion towards others, you may even begin to feel more alive with more energy to carry on.

Try it today.

Ten- Minute Guided Meditation for Gratitude

Enjoy!

Dan and I posted some ways which were practicing mindfulness, eating clean, moving your body, getting out into nature, laughing, detoxing from technology, practicing acts of kindness, and listening to relaxing music, connect with a friend, sleep in, read a good book.

Sundays are great to do self-reflection exercises.

Journal to nourish your soul!

Sometimes, we need a deeper look at our own spiritual growth and how we are doing to nourish our souls.

Get out your journal, or even just a piece of paper.

Larissa Marks has a great set of 6 questions to ask yourself for self-reflection of your life.

She uses the term “God”, but as always, if you aren’t comfortable with it, substitute your favorite word for higher power.

You can use: 1.) the Universe 2.) Mother Earth 3.) fate.

The questions I find most telling of my own spiritual nourishment are, what has been life-giving?

RECAPPING THE WEEK-

Through the eyes of gratitude, everything is a miracle.

Happiness is not something readymade, it comes from your own actions.

Give the ones you love wings to fly, roots to come back, and reasons to stay.

Through difficult experiences, life sometimes becomes more meaningful.

Happiness does not always come from a pursuit. Sometimes it comes when we least expect it.

In order to carry a positive action, we must develop here a positive vision.

I believe the ultimate source of blessings is within us.

As Dan and I have been sharing and continuing the book from last week, Ten-Minute Relaxation, For Mind and Body by Jennie Harding, until the end.

Whenever you are feeling under pressure, ten minutes is all you need to relax totally, using tools that are always with you; your senses.

This book is packed full of wonderfully simple ideas and exercises for using sight, taste, smell, hearing, and touch and that vital sixth sense of intuition to rebalance your energies and bring you back into harmony with the natural world around you.

Identify your favorite sensory relaxation solutions and combat that stress!

Per Dan and my experience this is another component in keeping ourselves healthy, meditation.

By using your five senses, you can learn to relax in just ten minutes.

CHAPTER 3; INTUITION/SIX SENSE

SENSORY CREATIVITY

CREATIVE TASTE-

Continuing from yesterday, in Switzerland; especially at New Year, a traditional communal meal is the fondue Savoyard.

It is a dish of melted cheese, wine, and garlic into which bread is dipped on the end of long forks.

It is quick to make if there are four of you.

Then share the preparation and it can be ready in less than twenty minutes!

It is best made and served in a proper fondue set, with a ceramic pot and small burner.

But you can use a heavy-based saucepan instead.

When the fondue is ready, you carry the bubbling pot to the table.

This is where it sits on top of the burner, which needs to be on a low flame to keep the fondue warm.

The fondue smells and tastes amazing and eating it together from the pot in the corner of the table is truly sharing experience.

Tomorrow, RECEIPE FOR THE FONDUE SAVOYARD FOR FOUR PEOPLE-

As Dan and I start a new year; we will be posting daily 365 morning meditations for joyful days all year long.

The book is SUNRISE GRATITUDE by Emily Silva.

February 12th

THE JOY YOU HAVE NOW is in part a result of all the pain you have overcome.

Because you were tried, hurt, sad, angry, and chose to rise above it; you can experience life on a richer level.

You went through the valley to reach a summit.

You fought for your joy, so revel in it.

Let it wash over you.

Feel gratitude at a cellular level, because you have softened from the pain and your heart is more open than ever before.

PHRASE TO REMEMBER; Health is Wealth.

We stand by this and continue to do daily; walk, meditation, and Qigong.

If you would like to follow with us; hash tag words #walk, #meditation #Qigong on the right of the main blog page.

Until Monday, every day I think as you wake up, today I am fortunate to be alive. I have a precious human life. I am not going to waste it. I am going to use all my energies to develop myself. To expand my heart out to others. To achieve enlightenment for the benefit of all beings. I am going to have kind thoughts towards others. I am not going to get angry or think badly about others. I am going to benefit others as much as I can.

HAVE A WONDERFUL SUNDAY
